Campus Tour Activity Sheet
I. OBJECTIVES: At the end of the activity the students must be able to:
• Explore and learn about different buildings on the JRU campus;
• Interact with various offices of the University; and,
• Reflect on the experience.
II INTRODUCTION: This activity aims to provide an engaging and informative campus tour
experience, fostering a deeper understanding of the university's infrastructure and functions.

V. GROUP DIVISION:
You are divided into 8 groups. Please refer on Canvas for the list of group members
Building Assignments
1. G1 and G2: Building A
2. G3 and G4: Building B and C
3. G5 and G6: Building H including the Library
4. G7 and G8: Ground, Gymnasium, and Building G
VI. INSTRUCTIONS
1. Preparation:
• Gather all necessary materials.
• Ensure each group has a copy of the campus map.
• Appoint group leaders responsible for organization and behavior.
2. Campus Exploration:
• Each group should proceed to their assigned building according to the campus map.
• Follow the designated path to avoid disrupting ongoing classes and offices.
• Maintain silence during the tour to be respectful to classes and offices.
3. Building Visit:
• Once in the assigned building, take a photo and sketch the building's exterior.
• Identify and take note of the offices located within the building.
• If offices are occupied, ask politely for permission before taking photos or sketching.
4. Office Interaction:
• If offices are open, interview someone inside about their role in the university and
their office's function.
• Take a photo of the office and the person you interviewed.
• If an office is unavailable, proceed with sketching and noting its role based on
information available.
5. Individual Reflection:
• Each group member should write a one-paragraph reflection on their experience in
visiting the building and interacting with offices. Please refer to the output format
below.
6. Compilation of Outputs:
• Return to the classroom after completing the tour.
• Transcribe all sketches, photos, notes, and reflections onto clean sheets of paper,
following the provided format.
7. Group Reporting::
• Group leaders should assign group members to report on their assigned building
in the order specified.
• Present the compiled outputs to the class, sharing insights and experiences.
8. Peer Evaluation:
• Each group member should evaluate their peers' participation and contribution during
the tour and report presentation.
9. Submission
• Submit a soft copy of the compiled outputs, including sketches, photos, notes, and
reflections, on Canvas as a group.
Note: Group leaders are responsible for maintaining discipline, ensuring proper behavior, and
addressing any inappropriate actions promptly by reporting to the professor.
