The document provides instructions for modifying an existing fox crochet pattern to create a standing fox toy with longer arms and legs.

The arms are made in a continuous spiral with black yarn starting with 6 stitches and increasing, then switching to orange yarn and continuing without increases.

Each leg is made separately in a continuous spiral starting with 12 stitches and increasing in rounds 2 and 3, then continuing without increases and stuffing before decreasing to close.

and find the middle of the inner sides of the legs. That’s where you make the first sc to join
legs. (Image 3)

Rnd 24: (Sc in next 13 sts, 2 sc in next st) 2 times (30)
Rnd 25: (Sc in next 4 sts, 2 sc in next st) around (36)
Rnds 26 – 39: Sc in each st around (36)

Decrease:
Rnd 40: ( Sc in next 4 sts, sc2tog) around (30)
Rnd 41: ( Sc in next 3 sts, sc2tog) around (24)

Rnd 43: Sc in each st around (18)

Fasten off leaving a tail long enough to sew the body to the head! (Image 4)

Yellow knitted scarf

The scarf is knitted using basic stockinette stitch. With yellow DK weight yarn and 3.5 size
needles, cast on 8 sts and work 80 rows alternating knit rows and purl rows. Cast off. Weave in
yarn ends.

To make the cuff

Ch 14 sts, join with sl st to first ch to form ring, sc in each ch around. Fasten off!
