Python Developer

Role: We're hiring a Python Developer with leadership experience. You will provide
full-stack engineering support for our upcoming web/mobile product(s). This position
will lend itself to a variety of leadership roles on a short and long-term basis. As we
grow, you'll be responsible for training and building out a world-class team.

Responsibilities:

● Expose our state-of-the-art Machine Learning Product to millions of users


● Create dynamic software applications
● Write scalable code using Python programming language
● Test and debug applications
● Coordinate with front-end developers
● Development: Develop and maintain the core product.
● Planning: Define requirements, prototype and design new product features.
● Planning: Make detailed plans and timelines that work towards the
fulfillment of set product objectives.
● Management: Oversee the engineering organization on a day-to-day basis.
● Management: Recruit, assign, direct, and evaluate technical employees.
● Management: Collaborate with other leaders to ensure successful
development, release, and launch of products.
● Work with a team of engineers to deliver high quality products
● Work in a fast pace and learning oriented environment
● Work closely with data engineers to improve functionality

Requirements:

● BS degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Sciences or relevant discipline.


● At least 4+ years of experience in delivering high quality python applications.
● Must be comfortable with applying SOLID principles / Design patterns while
coding.
● Must be comfortable with writing test cases for the code.
● Hands on experience of databases like MySQL, SQL, Cassandra, Mongo or
PostgreSQL is a highly desirable
● Experience with writing APIs for a Machine learning based project is a strong
plus point
● Willing to roll up the sleeves and solve problems using command line
● Basic understanding of developing apps for the cloud, and basic knowledge of
deploying in cloud AWS preferably (EC2, RDS, S3, SNS, Cloud front et al.)
● Experience in Version Control/ CI: Git, SVN, Jenkins, Circle CI
● Knowledge in other programming languages such as C++ and JAVA, is a plus
