Savings deposit- This represents all interest-bearing deposit, withdrawal upon presentation of duly
accomplished withdrawal slip together with the passbook.
Time certificates of deposits - This represents the interest-bearing deposits, with specific maturity dates
and rates of interest, and is evidenced by certificates issued by the Bank in the name of the depositor.
Treasurer/Cashier/Manager’s checks - This refers to the total amount of checks drawn by the Bank upon
itself payable to the payees named in the check.
Interest expense- This refers to payments and/or monthly accruals of interest on the financial liabilities.
Ordinary savings accounts - an interest bearing account withdrawable any time and evidenced by
passbooks.
Special savings deposit account – interest bearing account (with interest rates higher the regular savings
account) placed for a stipulated period of time and evidenced by passbooks.
Certificates of time deposits – with fixed interest rate for a fixed stipulated period of time evidenced by
Certificates.
Customer records - refer to the customer information and documents obtained upon account opening in
establishing the true and full identity of customers including transaction records.
Enhanced due diligence- shall be applied to customers that are assessed by the bank as high risk.
Risk Profiling - The Bank has specified the criteria and description of the types of customers that are
likely to pose low, normal or high risk to their operations, as well as the standards in applying reduced,
average and enhanced due diligence, including a set of conditions for the denial of account opening or
services.
Beneficial Owner- refers to any natural person(s) who ultimately owns or controls a customer and/or on
whose behalf a transaction is being conducted; or those who has ultimate effective control over a juridical
person or legal arrangement.
Juridical/Corporate/Commercial Accounts - (includes single proprietorship, partnership, corporate
accounts – domestic/foreign, if any, treasurer-in trust and associations, cooperatives and other
unincorporated groups)
Fund Transfer (special accommodation for clients)- refers to a special accommodation for clients which
involves withdrawal transaction from his/her GRBP account and deposit the same to the client's account
in another bank.
Bank Certification - A document stating how much money a depositor has in the bank on a particular
date.
Bank Statement – a document summarizing all the transactions of the depositor during a particular period.
It contains Bank account information, such as account numbers, and a detailed list of deposits and
withdrawals. Bank statement shall be given upon the request of the depositor.
Dormant accounts- Accounts which has no activity (deposit or withdrawal) for more than two years shall
be classified and transferred to dormant account
