    It is often said, "when in Rome, do as Romans do.

    " Do you think people


    should adapt and accept the culture of the country they are visiting? Do
    you think it is possible to learn a culture without learning the language?
    What could happen if one does not adapt to a different culture?

    There is this old saying that has been with us for millions of years that is being
    focused on the importance of adapting to other countries differences while visiting and
    also giving this culture a respectful attitude as a symbol of understanding that not all
    of us are the same. This saying highlights the empathy of the visitors for the place
    they are visiting as if it were their own country and acting as they would like
    foreigners to behave in their country, also getting to know and learn inherent aspects
    of culture and society.

    As a result of people traveling around the world, they are constantly stumbling across
    with new divergent traditions to those places they are in, due to that there are many
    differences encountered from what they know however it is necessary to adapt to the
    culture because it goes easier to understand the habits as well as having a better
    experience.

    Although I believe the best option to learn about culture is by learning native
    language and tradition. Language shows mentality of society in a specific country,
    some words have meaning with not close to other languages. My experience shows
    that there is no way to learn culture without learning the native language and
    communicating with native population.

    Certainty Is totally normal that someone who comes from another country does not
    adapt to the culture. However the important thing is not to be disrespectful, you could
    acquire knowledge from them and learn different ways to live. But at the same time,
    you are going to be exposed to seeing some things that probably you do not agree with
    even though this does not mean that you have to do yet it is really important to
    understand their traditions and respect them.

    Therefore there is so much importance in adapting to other countries


    and as many visitors come to new countries to fill up gaps with bridging
    knowledge and respect for other ones. If you come to another country
    you could absorb native language and traditions needs to know how
    local people live and do things and told them how it happened in you
    country.
