    Adobe is migrating users of its Creative Cloud products to a new named user licensing model. Under this model, each user's license is tied to their individual user account, allowing access to Adobe apps from any Internet-connected computer. To access Adobe CC products, users will sign in using their Bombardier email through the Adobe website. This will redirect them to the BIS portal to sign in with their credentials before accessing licensed Adobe apps through the Creative Cloud desktop app. NTT is working to update all of Bombardier's Adobe CC products to the latest versions under this new licensing structure.

    Named user licensing

    Overview
    Users that use Adobe CC product(s) needs to migrate to the new Adobe Named User Licensing.
    Note: Only the Adobe CC cloud product are affected

    Named User Licensing (NUL)


    Named user licensing is the default and most popular licensing method to deploy and use Adobe
    Creative Cloud products. Designed for the network-connected scenario where app licenses are managed
    based on individual user need for use of the app.

    Deploying apps using Named User licensing


    There is no requirement to pre-configure computers for Named User Licensing.
    Each of the computers to be licensed must have access to the Internet.

    End-user sign-in workflow


    Authentication means verifying the user’s identity and connecting that identity with the user’s Creative
    Cloud membership. Authorization includes checking a user’s membership to determine its overall status,
    determining which applications and services the user’s membership allows the user to access, and
    discovering any restrictions or special permissions granted to the user. The licensing services are visible
    to users in activities such as logging in, accepting terms of use, and accepting end-user license
    agreements.

    Overview of the process for the end-user

    Once the new user receives the email from Adobe Creative Cloud
    ➢ Click on the Get Started
    Note: If already have an Adobe Enterprise account,
    Sign in directly to https://www.adobe.com

    ➢ From the Sign in screen enter your Bombardier email address and click Sign
    in with Enterprise ID

    ➢ Click on Enterprise ID section

    ➢ The screen will redirect to BIS portal to Sign in. Enter you’re your ID and
    password

    ➢ This will bring you to the following website. https://www.adobe.com
    And you’re done. Congratulations your Adobe CC product is licensed

    FAQ

    • All users that use Adobe CC products should only use Enterprise ID to login.

    • If you have an application that is not licensed or trial mode, Sign out of the Creative Cloud Desktop App and
    Sign in back in using the new Enterprise ID. You may also need to reboot your PC.
    • The new Adobe licensing use the user email only and can be use on two PC’s but not at the same time.
    • Adobe CC product are licensed for 99 days if the user did not sign in or did not used the Adobe app(s) within
    99 days the user will lose the access to the application(s)
    • NTT is currently working to update all the BA Adobe CC products* used today to the latest version.
    • Some user will see that once login to Adobe site that they can download app(s) or updates for their
    product(s). Note: Users cannot download or do updates of their app(s) because users don’t have the proper
    admin rights to do so. This task is reserved for NTT.
