    3. Rewrite Ann’s story in the Past Simple Tense.


    “Ann is a very happy girl. She behaves well. She has almost everything. Is it really?
    Yes. She lives with her parents in a huge house with big windows. Ann goes to the best
    school in her city. At school she is a good pupil. She studies Math and Chemistry. Ann
    likes to make experiments, especially when the teacher is absent. She dances and sings
    at the school parties in the end of each month. In evenings Ann reads books, plays with
    her friends and watches TV. Ann doesn’t like sweets, but she likes bananas and cherries.
    There are five cherry trees in her parents’ garden. Of course Ann helps her mother to
    grow them. Do you like Ann’s story? If yes, why do you like it? Why is she a good girl?”
    4. Chose the right picture for each little description and correct the mistakes
    (the narration in Past Simple).

    When I were a child my granny always tells me the story about one little girl, who wore the
    red hat. She often gone to her granny to bring her buns. She went through the deep forest, so her
    mother constantly telled her to be careful. There is a sly wolf in that forest.
    Some time ago they live in a zoo. They have everything: they relaxed in own comfortable
    cages, they eaten delicious meal, many visitors come to see them. One of them get regular
    treating, and another one took spa whenever she wants.
    A scary dragon watches her. But she lived with the dream about a charming prince, that
    would come and save her. He lived alone, swims in a bog, eaten snails and painted himself as an
    ugly ogre. He doesn’t have friends.
    They are closest friends. One of them worked as a delivery man. He is tall, big, so
    sometimes he decided to go on a diet, because he eated a lot pigs and drank a lot of vine.
    Another one were small but quick. He had a white little dog. Friends visit many places: Greece,
    Egypt etc.
    Some barrier protectted citizens from another people. Citizens appreciated not gold, but
    moral values. They grow food and breed animals. Nobody knowed about that islans, but one
    cartographer always believes that he would find it. So he with an expedition tryd to find it.
    A charming girl who is taken prisoner by him in his castle, despite her fears they startied to
    be friends with castle’s staff. She learned how to look beyond his exterior. But there were another
    man who tried to take a girl for himself at any cost.
