Rationale and Background of the Study

The focus of this Study is all about the Impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on stress and

emotional reactions in worldwide and most common kinds of people have psychological

variables and perceived threats related to COVID-19 in worldwide . While social distancing,

wearing face mask and use sanitize or alcohol make people feel safer, it can also increase their

feelings of isolation, stress and frustration and cause difficulties in many life situations. For

example, People's fears when you close to them will become ill or will die may generate

psychological effects. Feelings of fear and helplessness together and with reports of shortages in

medical supplies are liable to increase stress.

A study of COVID-19 conducted in China found that among 1210 respondents from the

general public, 53.8% rated the psychological impact of the outbreak as moderate or severe,

16.5% reported moderate to severe depressive symptoms, 28.8% reported moderate to severe

anxiety symptoms and 8.1% reported moderate to severe stress levels Another study that

examined 52 730 participants in Hong Kong found that 35% reported feeling stressed about

COVID-19, with women reporting higher levels of stress than men.

Like other countries implemented diverse containment measures, including quarantines in

14 days the government decided to close down the education system like face to face and to

prohibit gatherings of 10 people with social distancing . Entertainment and other public venues

were closed, including restaurants, movie gyms, shopping store, places of worship or church ,

beaches and parks. People were advised to avoid large gatherings at work and to maintain a

distance of at least 2 m between employees.

recommended number of doses and boosters. Getting sick with COVID-19 can cause severe
illness or death, even in children, and we can’t reliably predict who will have mild or severe
illness.

This benefits is help to cope the anxiety and stress.

Statement of the Problem

This study is to seek out the study of Impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on stress and

emotional reactions and to know the benefits of having knowledge about this study.

1. When country reported psychological impact?

2. How many percentage sever depressive symptoms?

3. How many percentage sever anxiety symptom?

4. How many percentage severe stress levels?

5. When country found 35% reported feeling higher levels of stress about virus with

women than men.

6. What people fears in Covid19 that make people have anxiety?


7. What are the benefits of getting vaccinated?

8. What are the benefits due to the pandemic to cope the anxiety and stress?

Scope and Delimitation or Limitation.

This research will only cover the Impact of the virus . This study will focus on Stress and

Emotion through pandemic for anyone who experiences stress, wherever they live and whatever

their circumstances. people reported an increase in negative emotions and the level of

psychiatric morbidity also increased. Women, older adults, educated individuals, anxious

individuals and those who had symptoms of the virus complied more strictly with precautionary

measures against the virus.

The Study will be conducted in Bulihan, Silang, Cavite Moreover, research that

examined emotional responses to the virus revealed cases of depression, anxiety, difficulties

Significance of the Study

This research is made with the aim to provide crucial information and knowledge
regarding to the chosen topic. This study can also help to aware and to encourage the Filipino

people to take action. Our common enemy is COVID-19 knowledge and common sense as well

about Vaccination, mask-wearing and physical distancing can help limit the spread

of COVID-19. Protect yourself and your community from COVID-19. Temperature screening is

less effective than promoting hand washing, respiratory hygiene. social distancing at an event.
