TVS MOTORS (Pre Globalisation)

TVS Motors is a global Indian motorbike manufacturer located in Chennai, India. With a sales of
more than 18 billion in 2020, it is India's third-largest motorbike firm. The firm is a subsidiary of
the TVS Group, India's largest industrial conglomerate. TVS Motors, founded in 1978, produces
and distributes a diverse range of two-wheelers, including motorcycles, scooters, mopeds, and
three-wheelers. The firm is well-established in foreign areas such as Africa, the Middle East, and
Southeast Asia. Apache RTR 160, Apache RTR 180, Jupiter, XL100, and more popular models
are available.

VENU SRINIVASAN

T.S. Srinivasan is the son of TVS Group founder T.V. Sundaram Iyengar. He now serves as the
Chairman of Sundaram Clayton Limited and as a Director of TVS Motor Company. He also
serves on the boards of directors of
many other TVS Group firms,
including Sundaram-TVS Finance,
TVS Srichakra, TVS Supply Chain
Solutions, and TVS Logistics Services.
Srinivasan has been instrumental in the
creation and expansion of the TVS
Group and is regarded as one of India's
most famous business executives.
Srinivasan joined the TVS Group in 1974 and has played an important role in the company's
growth and expansion.

Lucas TVS. He has also oversaw the group's worldwide expansion, with a presence in over 60
countries, implying that he has a global vision for the organisation.

include Naukri.com, Jeevansathi.com, and 99acres.com. The company was founded in 1995 and
is headquartered in Noida, India. Info Edge has a diversified business model and has been one of
the early players in the internet industry in India. It has been a pioneer in the Indian online
recruitment industry and has been instrumental in transforming the way recruitment is done in
India.

SANJEEV BHIKCHANDANI

Sanjeev Bikhchandani is the founder and executive vice chairman of Info Edge, a publicly traded
Indian company that operates a number of online and offline businesses in the fields of
recruitment, matrimony, and real estate.

He is an Indian businessman, entrepreneur and the founder of Info Edge. Bikhchandani is known
for his visionary leadership and has been able to steer the company through its early days and has

Bikhchandani is a graduate from St. Stephen's College, Delhi and holds a post-graduation in
management from IIM Ahmedabad. Before starting Info Edge, he worked with Hindustan Lever
Limited and then with The Times of India group.

In recognition of his contributions to the Indian internet industry, Bikhchandani was honored
with the Entrepreneur of the Year award at the Economic Times Awards for Corporate
Excellence in 2009. He is also known for his philanthropic activities and is a member of the
Board of Trustees of the Indian School of Business and the Indian Angel Network.

Motivation/Reason

Sanjeev Bikhchandani founded Info Edge in 1995 with the purpose of linking job searchers with
potential companies. The internet was still in its infancy in India at the time, and there were
relatively few online employment sites. Bikhchandani recognised a potential to utilise the
internet to transform the Indian recruiting sector, making it more efficient and accessible to both
job searchers and companies.

He has a managerial experience and had previously worked for Hindustan Lever Limited and
The Times of India group before beginning his own enterprise. He has the necessary business
acumen, market knowledge, and skill set to launch an enterprise.

He was also inspired by the internet's ability to link people and companies in ways that were not
before conceivable. He thought that by developing a platform that made it simple for job
searchers to identify employment openings and businesses to find suitable applicants, he could
provide a significant service to both groups.

Bikhchandani also felt that by harnessing the power of the internet, he could develop a scalable
business model capable of reaching millions of people across India. This was a major motivator
for him to launch Info Edge, and he was successful in building one of India's most successful and
creative online enterprises.
