ABOUT THIS GUIDE

Green Star rating is used to assess the
environmental impact of a building. A building
project is evaluated against eight environmental
impact categories. Points are awarded within each
category, for initiatives that demonstrate that the
building project has met the specific criteria of
each category credits.

Sealants and adhesives fall within the Indoor MAT4

category and account for 12% of the total category
credits. The aim of the credit is to reduce the level
of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) in a building
project.

This Guide demonstrates how the Bostik range of

products achieve and exceed the low level of VOC
required for Green Star Compliance. Each product
in this Guide is presented with four parameters
to help you to determine which product is most
suitable for the required application.

✔ VOC Required Rating (VOC Req) ✔ VOC Actual Rating (VOC Act)
This shows the maximum level of Volatile Organic Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) detectable
