Messaging for a
digital matching
platform.
MyRadiant is a digital matching platform designed to
connect people with practioners suited to their needs.
Backed by Relationships Australia, our team were
engaged to develop their core messaging and define
what they stood for. We worked closely with their
leadership team to carefully understand the mission and
purpose of MyRadiant, whilst also understanding the
journey a user would experience who is seeking help.
We developed the positioning line “We’re in this
together” to bring together customers and practitioners
without mentioning the words ‘mental health’ to elevate
the supportive nature of MyRadiant.
Our messaging work went onto further work such as
developing their brand and communications, including
a submission to the Google Impact Challenge which
resulting in them receiving a 500,00 AUD grant.

Finance to help illustrate content in a visually interesting
and practical way. It was important that this eBook
reflected Nexus Finance’s profesionalism but also their
mission to keep the finance simple. We worked with the
new Nexus brand guidelines to develop an Ebook which
took complex information and cut it down into bite-sized
chunks. This meant lots of icons, lists, small paragraphs
and plenty of visually interesting photographs! The

the Nexus Finance Facebook profile to ensure there was

A digital approach
to engage with the
community.

Macquarie Capital were on the search for a reputable


agency with experience developing high impact
websites in the renewable energy space. Creative
Resort was the perfect match. After several preliminary
meetings with the client to truly understand the vision
and Avertas brand identity, our team got to work to
design and craft a stunning website that was custom
made for desktop and mobile. Working in Adobe
XD our lead designer was able to accurately show
the layout of the design before construction and
development phase. The end result was a beautiful,
modern site which carefully presented information
across a range of uniquely designed web pages.

MACDOCH GROUP

A sustainable new
message
The Macdoch Group is an organisation investing
in regenerative agriculture and restorative natural
practices. The Macdoch group have been well known for
successfully establishing capital positive ventures and
simultaneously creating a carbon neutral footprint.
Their team were looking for a partner to help
communicate the complexity of what they do in
simplistic terms whilst articulating their core values,
mission and vision. Creative Resort were ecstatic to win
this tender as we felt our principles, mission and values
matched nicely with theirs.
We successfully helped Macdoch determine their
position and communicate their key messages to their
shareholders, community and audience. Our team were
also invited to visit the Wilmott Cattle Company in
northern NSW to learn first-hand how they put their
principles into practice.

When Pineana
became Koto
After years being a local favourite, the new owners of
“Pineana” were looking for a refresh ed brand to match
the eclectic, vibrant suburb in Avalon. Our team had
previously worked with the owners and were excited to
hear about their new venture.

Working closely together on strategy, a re-name,


positioning, messaging and brand ID - we came to the
new brand KOTO.Japanese for “to-eat”, we developed
a sound, clean and contemporary brand that visually
showcased their delicious food and modern cafe vibe.

references; as a team we achieved a beautiful new
rebrand.

‘race to the bottom’ on price and small printers have
been perceived as simple quick-print and graphic design

The Digital Centre had a different situation because they


had recently sold all of their printing equipment and
decided to rely on their printing industry partners and
expert skills in print management.

With this we needed to position them very differently


from other printers while still giving them a professional
printer feel. We determined that they were more like ‘an

A bright new brand

It was no accident when we came up with the name


Brightside Cover for Leading insurance brand IC Frith.
We enjoyed creating an approachable consumer brand

At Creative Resort we have recently had the opportunity
to create Australia’s first ‘energy-tech’ brand in
collaboration with Hanwha Energy.

Working from scratch, we developed the brand


name, visual identity, positioning, website and a leading
edge energy app.

We were involved with the Hanwha management team


from the beginning when we where developing the
name. Out of many options the name ‘Nectr’ came to
life and our brand story about an energy ecosystem was
developed for the key messages.

TRINA SOLAR

Trinahome Australian
launch.
We were engaged to develop the new positioning and
creative campaign for Trina Solar’s first all-in-one solar
kit; Trinahome. It was an great opportunity to show our
true end-to end capacity from positioning and messaging
right through to campaign creative and media launch.

Working in partnership our media agency we developed


the “Solar Made Simple” campaign for Trinahome.

Our creative direction brought a unique and fresh


approach which was designed to move away from the
overly technical advertising seen from the competition.

Typically getting solar on your roof is hard, with so


many choices, components and brands, it’s challenging
for anyone to simply purchase a system if they are not
willing to spend the time doing lots of research.

We focused on making it ‘simple’ with simple messaging


complemented by a simplistic and effective visual
treatment using hand cut paper shapes. The result, was
a truly identifiable campaign that communicated the
benefits simply through our social media advertising,
website and video.

TRINA SOLAR

Australia’s number one


panel campaign.
Trina Solar had focussed their marketing and R&D efforts
for a couple of years to become Australia’s number one
panel. When this happened Trina engaged us to develop
a creative campaign to promote this to consumers
through TV advertising, online banners, print ads, and
communications to the channel partners including
brochures and point of sale.

The theme was kept very Australian using two native


Australian birds having a conversation on a rooftop;
a ‘Cockatoo’ and a ‘Magpie’. These two characters
were animated in a friendly style and spoke with funny
sounding voices that made people repeat or copy them.

The campaign ran over a 12 month period and was


leveraged by the Australian distributors with their own
brand tagging at the end of the commercials.

Show-casing the
‘Big Sky’ country.
Our experience in renewable energy, brand
development and image creation gave us the
opportunity to partner with BP Solar Australia
to win a Flagship Solar government bid for a
proposed solar farm in Moree NSW.

We were involved developing a brand style that


featured custom photography in Moree NSW known
as ‘Big Sky Country’. Our local photography and
communications gave a regional personality to
the communications that became the idea for all
supporting collateral for various stake-holders during
the bid process.

Our involvement also included creation of a range


of printed material, local advertising, community
engagement activities, bound documents, brochures,
videos and a project website with news updates.

our jolly new commercial. Using the idea of a ‘Pied Piper’
playing a merry tune he lured everyone out of their
houses and away from the post office line with their
packages and odd shaped items directly into a Pack &
Send store.

Our message ‘Anything Anywhere’ paired well with


the punch-line in the commercial making it a memorable
humourous moment that people would imitate.

The campaign was backed by print advertising, store


window graphics and an online banner campaign over
a 12 month period resulting in greater awareness and
a growth in sales throughout the countrywide franchises.

worked with Australian fashion designers to make
high fashion clothing that echoed the style of each of

We used fashion cues with technology cues and some


hint of futuristic design, we complemented the ‘style’
message with the ‘technology’ one. Given that Smeg’s

It’s Surprisingly Good!


Oh! What a treat it was to develop the brand for a new
style Japanese Matcha and desert Café specifically
for the Australian market. Our team were new to Matcha
and pleasantly surprised when we tried it,
this lead to our brand tagline ‘Surprisingly Good’.

We created messaging with surprising facts and


designed fresh looking store graphics with our green
leaf branding on everything from cups to uniforms.

We’re now mad Matcha fans and never miss an


opportunity to drop into one of the Oh Matcha! cafés for
our Oh! Matcha hit.

Their brief was to create a new messaging platform

We also produced a new photographic library of that

gear onsite and in the office.

It was important to make sure the clothing items were


sharp in the photography and that people were seen to
be using the new ordering app - Dataspace in various
situations.

The treatment is a distinctive contrasty black and white


image used with a yellow band overlay. The stitching
graphic (seen on the ad layout) is another asset we

Engaging the
community with local
area photography.

RES Australia has been developing renewable energy


in Australia since 2004, providing wind farms that
generate pollution free electricity, contribute to a cleaner
environment, and have a positive economic effect on
their local communities.

RES asked Creative Resort to assist their project


management team with communications for the planning
and construction of Solar and Wind Farms across their
sites nation wide. With our landscape and community
photography paired with coherent marketing collateral,
RES were able to effectively communicate the benefits of
renewable energy to the local community.

TRINA SOLAR

Casting new light across


Trina’s global brand.
Trina Solar is one of the world’s leading providers
of solar solutions and they required a new brand
library that would help to differentiate them from the
competition.

Most of the competitive solar companies use the same


type of stock images which makes them all look similar.

The idea was to show the effect of the sun in a unique Click to play
way by shooting an image showing the shadow that
is created. We looked for different ways that shadows
could be depicted in every day situations from home
living to outdoor locations to create a unique set of
images that could be used in a variety of mediums
including the Trina Solar website, advertising and social
media.

EYEQ OPTOMETRISTS

Capturing a new vision


for EyeQ.
We helped EyeQ Optometrists with a brand images
photoshoot that showed customers engaged with their
friendly and accommodating staff. It was important we
conveyed a warm, custom focused image featuring eye
checks with people from different age groups.

EyeQ Optometrists are committed to developing


long term relationships with their patients including
parents and children. The shots were designed to be
bright and engaging to capture a sense of being
