    Fran and Leanne are making plans to get together on an evening next week. In one email, Fran suggests going out for a meal at a new Chinese restaurant in town on Friday or Sunday evening. However, Fran is busy both Saturday nights for the next two weeks. In the other email, Leanne offers to host a meal at her house and invite some friends over on Friday instead. She mentions there is a nice cafe near her house but it is expensive and people usually dress up. They agree to meet on the following Friday for a meal.

    very busy at the moment. It isn’t easy studying and working
    at the same time. I want to go out and have some fun!
    Let’s go out for a meal. Do you like Chinese food? There’s
    a great new restaurant in town.
    Friday and Saturday evenings are usually good for me, but
    I’m busy on Saturday night for the next two weeks. Sunday
    is OK, but I start work early on Mondays … So, how about
    Friday of next week?

    Yes, next Friday is good for me. Would you like to go out

    near my house, but it’s quite expensive and everyone
    wears smart clothes.
