Introduction
For the majority of Filipino people, washing their laundry at home is a great alternative, but
there are times when you won't have the opportunity to do it due to a variety of factors, such as
busy work schedules that make you too exhausted to even do your laundry. Apart from that, doing
your own laundry might take a lot of time and be expensive, even if it can be a good option for
saving money. The activity of providing workers and students with a place to wash & clean laundry
is the purpose of laundry service business.
Nowadays, individuals seek to make their tasks simpler and more pleasant, which makes
the laundry service industry quite profitable. Starting a laundry service business can be a lucrative
venture but requires careful planning and execution. Competition, Regulations and Permits,
Location, Staffing, Customers Satisfaction, Technology and Management Systems, Affordability
are the potential gaps that a business should be aware of and might face when establishing
laundry service business.
Researchers identify the unmet need that already-existing business are not completely
fulfilling, thinking about satisfying a particular market gap or offer a better service. Facing several
obstacles before gaining success is inclined in establishing a laundry service business.
Competitors are inevitable, but assuring the quality and cost-effective services will undoubtedly
contribute to its success.
Laundry in the Philippines began as manual labour in the early 1980s, with laundrywomen
using metal washtubs. Today, laundromats offer full-service and self-service services, reducing
labour time from a full day to less than 3 hours. Modern washing machines have also improved the
process.
A laundry service business provides clean and fresh clothes. Filipinos enjoy working, but
they take their time with household chores, particularly laundry. People wash their own clothes in
launderettes instead of doing it themselves in order to avoid being too excessively tires and save
time since they are too busy at work.
Offering quality, clean, and fresh garments and clothes to our customers is one of the
researchers’ reasons in establishing laundry service business. Second, saves time and
convenient. Third, to grow and make profit as time comes.
1.2 Name of the Firm
The researchers provide several options before settling on this business name. As long as
humans have been wearing clothes, they have been washing them as well. We believe we need to
catch people's curiosity in our company. The researchers thus conduct an online search using a
potential name, but no one is able to capture our interest. Until we gave it a name by combining
the ideas of washing clothes in an easy way, WASHDALI LAUNDROMAT. In which the said
services will provide quality clean clothes that will satisfies customer’s expectation. WASHDALI
comes from the word “wash” which means to simply wash your clothes and “dali” is a Cebuano
word means easy. Researchers combine two words together which means to easily wash your
clothes. The researchers believe that using the name of this in our business will help us quickly
come up with good ideas for our business because it added an interest to the customers.
The researcher was able to create this logo as it corresponds to laundry service business.
This logo was created with the intention of providing our customers with the quality clean, most
effective, and reasonably priced dry cleaning and laundry services available. First, the researchers
put a smiling cloth which signifies that their garments and clothes are in good hands. Second, the
snap hand signifies easiness of doing a laundry, which will result happiness and customer
satisfaction. Lastly, the blue droplets or water splash signify water which symbolizes purify, fertility,
and the source of life. Generally, the logo denotes the greatest service and care for clothing while
giving each individual item the attention it deserves.
