Job Description

Job Title: Executive- Technology Support

Purpose of the job:


IT support specialists to assist clients/ user with hardware and software issues. The main purpose of their
job is to provide on-site or remote technical assistance including the setting up of computer hardware
systems, installing and upgrading software, and troubleshooting basic IT issues.

Essential functions and responsibilities:

- Perform the initial configuration of Switches, ensuring they are set up correctly and securely.
- Routing and Switching - Cisco, Aruba switches (Moderate level of core knowledge in at least one
of these)
- WiFi Access Points - Aruba, Cisco, etc. - able to configure and manage load balancing.
- Implement LAN and WAN configurations within the firewall to ensure secure and efficient
network connectivity.
- Monitor and maintain firewalls, VPNs, web protocols, and email security systems to ensure their
effectiveness and reliability.
- Identify, monitor, and define requirements for the overall security of the system, ensuring all
vulnerabilities are addressed.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies and processes that enhance the overall
security of the system.
- Implement network security best practices by auditing router, switch, and firewall
- Coordinate and monitor log analysis for managed services offerings to meet user policy and
security requirements.
- Develop tracking documents to record and manage system vulnerabilities, ensuring timely
remediation.
- Planning and implementing system Patches
- client, OS monitoring
- Installation / configuration of e-mail clients, MS Outlook configuration, outlook backup, restore
& troubleshooting, Handling Remote desktop and team viewers, Installation of Printer Drivers
and Troubleshooting folders, Sharing devices & printers.
- Troubleshooting basic Network related problems. TCP/IP configuration, Internet Maintenance,
cabling, patching and LAN troubleshooting.
- Ticketing tool experience, SLA handling and closure.

Essentials:
- Basis knowledge on network and servers
- Knowledge on Network fundamentals and configuration
- Experience on Network troubleshooting and installation
- Experience on network switches, server installation and configuration
- Server installation knowledge will be an advantage as well and anyone have experience in AD
will be great since there is migration involved.

- Must have the ability to work independently.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to work.

Educational Qualifications: Any Graduate

Work Experience: 2-4 years

Prerequisites:

- Cisco CCNA certification


- Rotational shift including night shift is a must
- Network and desktop troubleshooting must
- Must have handled 24X 7 Operations
- Candidate from Large BPO, Background verification or Hotel Industry preferred
