of ASTM. A574M is under the jurisdiction of ASTM Committee F-16
on Fasteners and is the direct responsibility of Subcommittee F16.02.

2. This abstract presents the chemical and mechanical requirements


for alloy steel socket head cap screws [metric}. It omits those para-
graphs dealing with referenced documents, government provision-
ing, packaging, inspection, and supplementary requirements. For
the omitted information, refer to the complete specification.
