Mission planning in QBase 3D Check
UAV ASSEMBLY
Set up the laptop and open QBase Check
Set up the QBase modem and connect it to the Laptop Check
Set up the ADS-B receiver Check
Set up the iBase • Stay away min. 5 meters Check
• Micro SD-card is inserted • Power bank is connected and powered
• Antenna center is exactly above the reference mark • iBase is recording (blue LED blinking)
• Not shaded by objects
Turn on the RC Transmitter Check

• Ensure the direction of the displayed UAV corresponds with the direction of the UAV on the ground
• Do not fly if the heading on the ground is not correct: critical deviation ≥ 10°
Wind direction Check
• Re-/transition is set against the wind direction!
• Retransition with tailwind: per 1m/s tailwind ~ 20 meter deviation
• Windcheck in the immediate surrounding
• Do not take-off in a wind sheltered area (lee) as turbulances may occur

Link lost No manual input necessary. Wait until link reconnects. The UAV will perform the mission as planned in
the meantime or come back home and land automatically (depending on link-lost setting).
Motor temperature No manual input necessary except for collision avoidance. The UAV will land automatically.
too high The flight cannot be continued.
Transition No manual input necessary except for collision avoidance.
airspeed too low The UAV will return home and land automatically. The mission cannot be continued.
Wrong No manual input necessary except for collision avoidance. The UAV will automatically try to turn into the
direction transition cone to continue with the transition. If this is not possible it will automatically return home and
land.
Wind speed No manual input necessary. The mission is automatically continued.
Wind too strong No manual input necessary except for collision avoidance.
The UAV will return home and land automatically. The mission cannot be continued.
