Department" at PARKVIEW SUPER SPECIALITY HOSTIPAL for 2
months (27th July to 30th September) submitted by me in practical
fulfillment for the requirement of Bachelor Degree in Hospital

with the opportunity to work in this esteemed hospital. Without

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Human resource management refers to the practices and policies needed to


carry out the personnel aspects of management. These include:
 Analyzing jobs:

 Selecting best people;

 Planning manpower needs and recruiting competent people;

 Appraising performance and potential on ongoing basis; Socializing, training and developing
people;

 Managing compensation;

 Communicating;

 Building employee commitment and so on so forth.

A commitment HRM bundle includes diverse practices such as training, sharing information,
employment security, performance based compensation, employee participation, and ensuring
employees' well-being (Chang, 2005). If every manager is good at managing HR along within his or
her own functional area he or she er own functional can avoid:

 Hiring the wrong person for the right job.

 Experiencing high employee turn over.

 Finding people not contributing their best.

 Poor time management.

 . Having company taken to court because of discriminatory practices.

 Having dissatisfied employees who always think about their salaries and perceive them to be
unfair and inequitable relative to others in the organizations.

 Failure to provide job related training which will eventually undermine the department's
effectiveness.

 Indulging in favoritism and nepotism at the cost of organizational effectiveness.


OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY
 To know the structure of the organization.
 To study the role of each department.
 To implement the management principle in the practical field.
 To know the satisfaction level of the patient regarding the hospital.

SCOPE OF THE STUDY


We are asked to pursue the live projects to enhance our learning by applying theoretical concepts to
industry situations under the guidance of experienced faculty to ensure focus and implementation. It
helps to combine the concepts learnt in classroom with the real life situations.

 Primary Data: The role of few departments and organizational


structure are taken from the Parkview Super Specialty Hospital.

 Secondary Data: The company profile, sector analysis is
