What is a Host and what is a
Par!cipant?
A Par!cipant is an invitee in a mee!ng scheduled by
someone with a Host license. A Par!cipant does not require a Zoom account in order to join a mee!ng. Par!cipants can join a mee!ng from their phone, desktop, mobile and tablet devices.
How many par!cipants can join the
mee!ng? How many people can use one host license?
All plans allow up to 100 par!cipants by default in every
mee!ng (up to 500 with Large Mee!ng add-on). You can host an unlimited number of mee!ngs but if you would like to have more than one mee!ng concurrently, you will need addi!onal host licenses.
Do you charge sales tax?
Certain U.S. states are subject to a required sales tax. If
your online order includes sales tax, you will see the tax amount applied in your shopping cart before checkout is complete.
Where can I find a Zoom W-9 for my
business?
If your business requires service providers to have a W-9
form on file for tax records, you can find a copy of Zoom's W-9 here.
What is the difference between the
Basic and Pro plans?
Zoom offers a full-featured Basic Plan for free with
unlimited mee!ngs. Try Zoom for as long as you like - there is no trial period. Your Basic plan has a 40 minutes !me limit on mee!ngs with three or more total par!cipants. Need your group mee!ngs to last longer than 40 minutes? Sign up for a Pro Account here.

How does the subscrip!on service
work? Can I cancel my subscrip!on?
Zoom is a subscrip!on-based service, which means that
your plan renews every month or year (depending on the term you choose). You can cancel your subscrip!on at any !me during your plan term to cancel the auto-renewal of your subscrip!on.
