Product Introduction
RECOMMENDED USES : Suitable for interior and exterior surfaces of masonry, concrete and
plaster.
DESCRIPTION : MA478 line is a quality vinyl versatate copolymer emulsion paint
formulated for interior and exterior application.
 Excellent exterior durability.
 Excellent resistance to fungus and algae.
 High opacity.
 Ease of application.
STANDARD PACKING : 18 litre 、
20 litre.

Technical Data
BASE RESIN : Vinyl Versatate Copolymer Emulsion.
COLOR : As per color card , BS5252:1976, Tailor-made colors on requests
STANDARD ACCELERATED : No chalking, cracking & very slight color fading observed after 500
WEATHERING hours exposure in UV / condensation screening device.
FINISH : Matt
CALCULATED COVERAGE : Approx. 13.3 sq.m / ltr. at 30 Microns dry film thickness.
RECOMMENDED FILM :
THICKNESS : Wet : 180-220 microns
(2 Coats in total) : Dry : 50-60 microns.
DRYING TIME :
Touch Dry : 1 hour


Hard Dry : 2 hours
Over coating@20
Minimum : 3 hours

RECOMMENDED PRIMER : Camel Alkali Resistant Wall Sealer MA473, Interior Wall Sealer
AN463 or Exterior Wall Sealer AX473
RECOMMENDED UNDERCOAT : Not applicable
RECOMMENDED THINNER : Water
METHOD OF APPLICATION : Roller
Recommended : 2 coats

Recommended : Dilute 10 parts of paint with around 2 parts of water (10 : 2 by
thinning ratio volume).

Safety Precaution
DANGEROUS GOODS : Not applicable.
CLASSIFICATION
SHELF-LIFE : 24 Months.
APPLICATION CONDITIONS : Maintain temperature in areas to receive coatings at minimum 4 deg.
C, during application and until coatings have cured.
: Adequately ventilate areas where coating are being applied.
Maintain a resonably dust-free atmosphere for duration of works.
: Protect adjacent surfaces not scheduled to receive coating from
damage and overcoat.
: Post ‘Wet Coating’ signs while work is in progress and while coating
are curing.
OTHER CONSIDERATIONS : Material to be delivered and stored in undamaged, original
manufacturers’ containers.
: Keep container closed when not in use.
: Stir the paint well before use.
: Store at cool, dry place.
HEALTH & SAFETY : Ingestion : Send the affected person to hospital or obtain
PRECAUTIONS medical attention immediately. Do not induce
vomiting.
Skin contact : Flush immediately with water and remove
contaminated clothing. Use soap if available. If
irritation persists refer for medical attention.
Eye contact : Flush immediately with water and get medical care.
Inhalation : Remove the affected person to fresh air and obtain
medical attention if rapid recovery does not occur.
