    CASE SUMMARY:
    This case begins when Steve Sarich and John V/orthington took it upon themselves to become involved with
    a

    major marihuana grower/distributor that with his co-defendants were facing Federal prosecution. It was

    there actions and apparent close association with these other Federal defendants that led me to begin an investigation into their involvement with marihuana.

    During the course of my investigation I searched the normal police avenues for properties associated with
    these individuals (Steve Sarich and John Worthington), criminal histories and power consumption at the

    identified properties were also reviewed. I then drove to and made observations 1604 Cedar Street in Everett Washington stood out.

    The site at 7604 Cedar Street appeared to have covered windows, bright light was sometimes visible, what
    appeared to be an exhaust fan was visible upstairs and the power consumption at this site was consistent with
    a

    marihuana growing operation. I parked my vehicle down the block on two occasions and walked through

    the alley behind the residence and in front of the residence and on both times I could smell marihuana
    coming from this property.
    On January 12,2007 WestNET Detectives later supported by DEA Agents served search warrants at 1604

    Cedar Street in Everett seizing 1143 rooted marihuana plants and later Washington seizing 6 rooted marihuana plants.

    The primary suspect at 1604 Cedar Street in Everett Washington is Steve Sarich who claims to be

    marihuana patient but also following the Miranda wamings and his agreeing to talk with police tells Detective Day thathe is transferring marihuana to others.

    Tawny Salazar, Zachary Joy and John Worthington also say that Steve Sarich is growing marihuana and
    transferring marihuana to others. Tawny Salazar gets her marihuana from Sarich. Joy helps care of the
    marihuana plants and obtained a medical authorization for helping but questions its validity. Worthington believes that Sarich started out to help people in need get marihuana for medical purposes but has (since
    June 2006) become a gray marketer and is now just in it for the money. 'Washington and other sources that Steve Sarich moved I know through records obtained from the State of

    into the home at 1604 Cedar Street in Everett around November or December 2005. According to the
    Employment Security Department since at least 2003 Sarich has had no employment, He has no income

    from Labor & Industries and the Department of Revenue no record is pending for his organizations'
