THE BREEZEWAY
INTRODUCTION
Put simply “The Breezeway” is 4 single 3m x 6m portable buildings joined together in pairs with
a space between them 4.5m wide and 12m long with a roof over everything. Above is a perfect
example of the upgradable Breezeway base model. There are 8 designs to choose from.
From the base model there are choices that can be added to the order to better utilize that
breezeway area. These range from adding a floor for the whole breezeway and making it a patio
or close it all in as a centre main room. Or try something different and use half of it as a carport
and the other half as a kitchen. We have 8 simple designs to choose from.
ALL products we sell do not come fitted out. These are bare empty rooms and it is your
responsibility to organize your own fit outs and we recommend using only licensed and
experienced electricians and plumbers that have worked on portable buildings or cool room
panels.
The Breezeway small house makes the most out of its design and maximizing its under roof area
to a whopping 124m2; and all in 1 x 6m shipping container that is part of the purchase price.
The home comprises 4 rooms with an inside measurement of 16m2 (2,760mm x 5,715mm)
each room and an inner breezeway room area of 41m2 (4,572mm x 11,750mm); Overall the
Breezeway outside measures 10,416mm x 11,908mm totaling 124m2 under roof.
All rooms are fully insulated on the walls and ceiling with 50mm EPS insulation and lined with
.5mm steel cladding.
All orders are packed and shipped in a brand new 6m high cube shipping container. The
container makes an ideal storage area or work shed, or it can be sold to recoup some of the
money outlaid on the Breezeway. The value of the container will vary in each state and area but
at the time of writing this (Aug 22) the new 20HC container is selling for around the $7000 -
$7500 range in the Bundaberg region.

NEW SHIPPING CONTAINER
The high cube shipping container (20HC – 2890mm) is 305mm higher than the
standard shipping container (20GP - 2590mm). Making it an ideal store room after
building your home, or sell it to recoup some of your cost. The sale value will vary
depending on your location but they are valued higher than a standard container
and considerably more than a used container. At the time of writing this brochure
the new 20HC shipping containers were selling for between $7000 and $7500 in the
Bundaberg region (Aug 2022).
AUSTRALIAN COUNCILS
We DO NOT get involved with council applications, documents or approvals.
Councils and states of Australia have varying rules and regulations and are simply
too many for us to get involved with. There will be diagrams in your assembly guide
that you can use either for council or for the information for councils forms. We do
not guarantee your council will approve the building you have chosen as so much
depends on what you do and how you attach the building to the ground. However,
after saying that, we are aware of some customers gaining council approval for their
buildings in eastern Queensland.

These units are ideal as a guest room, teenagers retreat, home office, man's cave
or any other space requirement you have.
The 3m x 6m portable building has that extra width to allow better use of the
space. Most units sold on the market today are only 2.4m which gives hardly
enough room to put a bed width ways.
The single units are available in bulk shipments are individually at our depots
around Australia.

operating since 2017; our retail business (Insulated Buildings) with our bulk sale
business (Dongas Australia). Budget Homes was created to cater to a housing

ABOUT US
Budget Homes Pty Ltd is a fully owned company of The Australian Encyclopedia of
Fishing; a newly formed 100% Australian owned, not for profit organisation that has had
several companies and businesses donated to it to raise revenue for its many
environmental, social and charitable causes it wishes to start and finance in the future,
as well as creating Australia’s most informative reference library about Australia’s most
popular past time; fishing.
Budget Homes was recently registered to become the main company of two of our
smaller businesses; Insulated Buildings which is our retail side of the business and sells
individual portable buildings and Dongas Australia our bulk shipment side of the
business that only sells products by the shipping container load. Both businesses were
started on the 1st January 2018.
The founder of our businesses has over 25 years experience in the domestic shipping
container and portable building industries. He was the original founder of Royal Wolf
Trading in 1995; which became the largest domestic shipping container supply company
in Australia and New Zealand. Many of the original container designs were his.
After departing Royal Wolf Trading, he took a change of direction and started teaching
business, specialising in logistics and supply chain management in other countries. He
lived for a total of 5 years in Russia and then 3 years in various cities of China.
Whilst in China he established contacts throughout many key industries and returned to
Australia armed with the necessary contacts and knowledge to become extremely
competitive in the portable insulated building & small house markets. With our own
purchasing and QA staff in China and 3 factories under our control we are positioned to
ensure that we can offer the best quality insulated buildings for the price charged.

Being a business with high cost products and some products with similar designs, we
ask for all communication to be performed in writing, either using our website inquiry
form to initiate contact and then by using email to write directly to us, or preferably
to write by email in the first instance so we have an accurate record of all our
communications. We understand that some people prefer to use the telephone but as
the amount of money involved is close to $50,000 we believe for both our interests
we should keep everything in writing to avoid any misunderstandings after delivery.

cases and the products we sell can be customised. It is therefore imperative for ALL
