Means whenever we press power button but laptop does not getting on. So first of all of laptop motherboard these 2 voltages are active before power ON. Always notice low value resistor (under 10 ohm) in the path of supply pin of step down chip. If this resistor shows high impedance then replace with good one. SHORTING OF STEP DOWN CIRCUIT — If any type of shorting found on step down circuit output coil then first of all il\step down of all check disconnect output coil and break this circuit in two parts aRRRheck where is shorting. If both supplies are ok then replace RAM or check all important signal of RAM slot which is coming out from Northbridge. > If operating voltage are not available on Output Coil then check Logic on gate of both Main and Supporting Mosfet. If logic not available then checks all requirement of RAM Supply Controller Chip i. enabling Signal. If VDD Supply is ok then problem signal component. Micro-Processor or CPU for its operation. VRM circuit receives supply from Volt in Circuit and through high frequency switching process converts this supply to core voltage and provide it to Micro-Processor. — For this function N-Channel Mosfet, VRM Chip used in this Circuit. N-Channel Mosfet is used for Positive and Negative Switching. This Mosfet is operated by VRM Chip. INPUT SHORTING Put millimeter one probe on ground and other probe on drain of Main Mosfet of all circuit. If any beep that means there is input shorting. We already know that all input is the output from volt in circuit. In this case apply de supply output on volt in output Point. Doing this faulty components will be Heat. SHORTING PROBLEM IN VOLT IN CIRCUIT How to confirm there is any shorting in Volt in Circuit. 1.
