DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 Attending to patient with general health issues.
 Performed over a hundred surgeries in the diagnosis and treatment of general surgery
problems, such as exploratory laparotomy, hernia plasty firearm injuries & other surgical
procedures.
 Monitoring and following up progress of patients
 Use knowledge training and experience in the provision of medical care and prescription of
medications to patients with female reproductive health concerns.
 Performing proper documentation of all treatments administered using the patient
electronic medical record.
 Performed other necessary medical staff duties as directed.
 Provided patient care, performed assessments, and interventions at a 10-bed ICU unit of
WAPDA Teaching Hospital for medicine and post-surgical patients.
 Assessment patient’s condition, notified physicians of clinical changes as well as preparing
and implementing patients care plans.
 Monitoring vital signs, adequacy of ventilation, and levels of consciousness and pain.
 Communicating the patient's condition to family members in a compassionate and non-

 To take and note down history of patients
 Detailed round of the ICU patient To monitor vitals of in-patients, inform the vitals
parameters diagnostic investigation to concern senior doctor
 Doctors working in intensive care medicine manage the sickest patients in the hospital:
critically ill patients who already have organ dysfunction and organ failure. They also care
for patients at risk of developing such problems and who require level of care and
observation that cannot offered on a normal ward.
