The system is designed for the production of tapes for variety of applications mainly stretched tapes for
packaging. The machines can be equipped at an extra cost to produce fibrillated tapes and low shrinkage
tapes etc.

According to the specification of machine installation plan, the customer has to provide the foundation, mains
input, cooling water and compressed air supply as well as adequate fresh-air supply and heated air removal.

Melting Capacity of extruder on PP with reference material H030SG of M/s Reliance Industries Limited, plus
4 – 8% AFMB (Calcium Carbonate filler MB) is 350 kg/hr. The recommended MFI for the raffia grade PP is
2.5 to 4.

The Extruder is equipped with three phase A.C. main motor with V-belt drive and reduction gear box
mounted on a movable common base frame, water cooled hopper section with resin hopper and water cooled
grooved bushing, air-cooled feed barrel of highly wear resistant bimetallic design, heating equipment and
cooling blowers, complete with temperature controllers for five zones, feed screw having new generation
mixing and homogenization zone, including mains input wired ready for connection.

FOUR COMPONENT GRAVIMETRIC DOSING & MIXING UNIT

This unit consists of:

A vacuum loader for each component – basic polymer and three additives.
Doser for each component.
Electronic microprocessor control for controlling the additive percentage.

AUTOMATIC SCREEN CHANGER CONTINUOUS FILTER BELT TYPE

IN-LINE GEAR PUMP SYSTEM

An in-line melt metering pump is installed immediately after the screen changer to deliver constant volume of

SYNCHRONIZATION OF GODET SPEEDS WITH MELT PUMP

The speeds of the holding, stretching and annealing units are synchronized with the melt pump rpm i.e. when
the melt pump rpm is increased, the speed of the other godet units increases in the ratio as preset in the
process.

TAPE EXTRACTION DEVICES

Designed as a start-up aid and broken tape suction device at holding unit & annealing unit, constructed as a
one-part system mainly consisting of suction nozzles, feed pipes, feed pipe extensions and waste collection
box blower driven by a suitably rated inverter.

TAPE ASPIRATION GUNS

Two tape aspiration guns are provided for threading up of the tapes onto winders during start - up and for
handling the broken tapes in running plant. One tape aspiration gun is required for removal of tape from
additional stretching unit. Compressed air consumption for each tape aspiration gun is 120 Nm3/h (70 CFM).

CENTRALISED COMPUTER CONTROLS

The computerised control for the tape stretching line consists of a programmable controller and computer
based operator station. All the control functions are centrally controlled by the processor(computer)viz.
temperature control, speed regulation, pressure recipe management, alarm management and trending of
analog inputs.

Computer based operating system is having colour touch screen monitor and keys assigned for various
functions of machine. This has various screens,which display the mimic diagram of the complete machine
and various parameters like Temperature,Pressure,Speed Draw ratio,Inverter parameters on real time basis.

The speed reference of the Holding, Stretching & Annealing of respective inverter is hard wired through
analog outputs of the computer. The speeds of Holding, Stretching & Annealing unit are synchronized with
screw rpm/melt pump rpm. Whenever the screw rpm/melt pump rpm is increased / decreased, the
corresponding speed of Holding, Stretching & Annealing unit is increased or decreased as per preset value
ratios fed in the computer as per process requirement.

Over and above this,the computer also allows various process parameters to be stored in the memory as a
recipe,which can be recalled immediately on request. Thus optimum parameters achieved of a particular set
up can be reproduced exactly at a later date without a need of readjustment.

Running hours of machine and cold start protection features are also included in the software

INDUSTRY 4.0 EQUIPPED MACHINE

A New IoT-based solution allows to connect all shop floor machines (must be IoT equipped)* of site with
single network. This system makes our machines IoT ready/equipped, and it can be activated based on
customer’s consent. This system allows to download the historical data from the machine and integrate it with
the existing Productivity Management Systems (PMS). This also allows to view the customized data on the
mobile app in real-time and configure them as per specific requirement. This solution also provides the
flexibility to integrate the data in any existing IoT system*. The system can be configured to use locally
(on-premises) or globally depending on the requirement and based on consent given by the customer.

*Feasibility/Flexibility need to be checked from LCL.

3. CHILLING PLANT

Process requirement : 36 TR (108,935 Kcal/hr)

This requirement is for normal tape production application. For low shrink tapes, the chiller capacity would
depend on tape specifications and production requirement. The selection of the capacity of the chiller and the
type of chiller (air or water cooled) has to be done by the Buyer in consultation with the Chiller manufacturer.
Chilled water is required at Extruder’s Feed zone, Extruder’s Gear Box, Water bath Unit,

Intermediate Stretching Unit and Annealing Unit. The technical data for chiller selection is given below. The
temperature and pressure are at the last point in the water distribution circuit of the Tape Extrusion Line:

6.1 The customer shall provide clean Three Phase power supply to the machine with proper neutral point.
Three-phase voltage with following fluctuations should be made available. For mains supply of 3X440V /
60Hz with separate neutral and earth. The neutral wire must be fully loadable.

Admissible fluctuations

Voltage : -10%to+5%
Frequency : +/-2%

In case the voltage variation is beyond the limits as specified above, suitably rated voltage stabilizer(s) will
have to be installed by the buyer, at their cost, to ensure regulated power supply to the machine.

6.2 The customer shall provide clean Three phase power supply to the machine, with adequate neutral point.
The machine should be properly earthed with min. two earth pits (based on earth resistance value of site) so
as to provide earthing resistance of less than 2 ohms. All earth pits prepared for this m/c should be
interconnected with each other. The earth pit should be made as near as possible to the m/c and should not be
shared with any other machine, equipment & other installations present at customer's premises. The
interconnection between earth pit & Tape Line m/c should be made by two parallel copper strips of min. size
25X6 mm² or can be done by two parallel multi strand single core armored copper cable of min. size 95 mm².

7. LUBRICANTS

First fill of oil in the gearbox is provided as standard with the machine. However, this is subject to constraints
/regulation of shipping which may be prevent supply of this oil. The lubricants used in the Tapeline should be
available with the customer before the commencement of erection and commissioning. Details of Lubricants /
oil required for Hot Oil Unit will be provided on the finalization of the order.

If any of the conditions specified above not met in the production facility, customer has to notify LOHIA
Corp Limited accordingly. The production hall / plant should have continuous ventilation corresponding to
the climatic condition to maintain the hall's temperature and humidity as well The height of topmost point of
the standard Tapeline is approximately 3.9 meters. It is recommended that the shed height may be chosen
accordingly.

9. LAYOUT

The preparation of the concrete floor should have load-bearing capacity of 2.5 MT / sq. mt/ and other details
as per the layout provided by us.

10. UTILITIES

The installations of the mains electric power supply, water inlet / outlet and compressed air connection should
be as per our Scope of supply and layout.

Suitable provision for lighting, transport equipment and lifting methods have to be made by the customer.
The maximum weight of the case would be 7500 kg and the maximum dimensions of length, width and
height of these cases would be 564 x 221 x 208 cm.

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

The filament / tape winder model LFW 200CE has been specially designed for the flexibility in changing
wind ratios for processing variety of tapes / yarn, flat and fibrillated, on cylindrical cheese tubes. This can be
used to produce warp and weft packages for circular weaving machines.

The filament/tape winder model is most suitable for the production of high quality packages even at the
highest operating speed. The electronic gearing has helped in eliminating the complications of changing gears
for processing variety of tapes/filaments for different applications. The electronic gearing allows a dynamic
change of gear(winding)ratio depending on bobbin diameter,to optimize the bobbin build up in terms of
crossing angle. This also reduces the variation in unwinding tension during weaving. Better quality of fabric
can be produced due to controlled unwinding tension of the packages. Mechanical drives to traverse
mechanism are replaced by electronics enabling higher efficiency,lower maintenance&saving in energy.

It is supplied with 6 winder heads on top of each other in a robust distortion free frame in a space saving
arrangement. The frames are ready for installation and can be quickly assembled to complete units for the
required number of winder heads. Each spindle is individually driven by an AC motor with encoder feedback
& frequency inverter regulated by dancing arm. Traverse cam is also individually driven by separate AC
motor with frequency inverter & encoder feedback. Wind ratios can be easily adjusted by the end user as per
requirement.

The filament/tape winder model is designed for horizontal tape supply. Each winder head is equipped with
guide elements ensuring the exact and smooth feeding of the tape/filament with pressure adjustment device.
A user-friendly lever allows the quick replacement of full bobbin by empty cheese tube.

The standard version of the winding machine includes

DRIVE

Each spindle is driven by a high efficiency 3-phase AC motor controlled by individual frequency inverter &
encoder feedback. Drive for traverse mechanism is also via separate AC motor with encoder feedback &
frequency inverter for getting flexibility in winding ratio.

COMPENSATING DEVICE

Dancing arm provides a constant tape tension and delivers a signal to the frequency inverter which regulates
the winding speed in synchronisation to the tapeline speed.

Adjustable spring pressure mechanism is provided between pressure roller and rotating package for
optimizing package quality.

DAMPENING DEVICE

Variable pressure for dampening device allows jerk free movement of traverse mechanism to deliver a good
quality package.

CLAMPING DEVICE

A user-friendly lever is used to release the cheese tube when pushed upward. After a pre-determined time
from the breakage of the tape, the drive motor will switch off automatically. When the lever is released
downward, it expands the mandrel and then the cheese tube is centred and locked.

HIGH PRECISION TRAVERSE MECHANISM

Precise traverse mechanism is provided with a reversing scroll shaft driven by an independent AC motor.
High speed, metallic, double groove roller cam and stainless steel tape guide with ceramic are provided as
standard for longer life.

SETTING OF DIFFERENT CROSSING RATIOS

Easily adjustable by getting feedback from the encoder mounted on cam and spindle with the help of control
card.

WINDING TENSION

Optimum setting of winding tension of a tape of particular denier and width is possible by manual adjustment
of spring loaded graduated collar.

FULL DOFF SIGNAL

For doffing of equal length bobbins, an LED indication is provided that blinks when the preset length is
reached on the bobbin. Different preset lengths can be set for different sets of winders(max. 4 groups). These
sets can be used to produce different types of bobbins for example warp or weft, different diameters for
different end use etc.

FRAMES

For comfortable operation on both the sides with accessible arrangement and easier maintenance, frames are
available in configuration of 24 winders as standard and of 12 winders against special requirement.

Should one of the conditions specified above not be met in the production facility, customer has to notify LOHIA Corp
Limited accordingly.

3. GENERAL

3.1 It is recommended to have a Compressor for air supply to the machine for cleaning purpose.

3.2 Customer should make necessary arrangement for proper illumination in the shed & on Cheese winder.

3.3 The cheese tube quality is very important for optimum performance of the winders. Specifications of
these tubes will be provided by the seller on confirmation of the order.

With drive rollers and brake arrangement.

WARP BREAK DETECTING SYSTEM

Each warp tape passes through a compensator, which is responsible for tape length compensation. The loom
shuts down automatically at the time of warp breakage as compensator wire makes contact with the
compensator ring. This warp breakage is indicated by one of the signal lamps arranged in six sectors of the
loom.

WEFT BREAK DETECTING SYSTEM

One ‘Magnetic Sensor’ monitors the continuous weft supply through shuttles and stops the loom in case of
breakage of any of weft tape.

WEFT PRE EXHAUST SYSTEM

One ‘Colour Sensor’ monitors exhaustion of the weft tape and stops the loom before tape is completely
exhausted from the weft package core. This will reduce the chances of weft faults in the fabric.

THREE MANUAL CONTROL UNITS

Consisting of ‘START’, interlocking ‘STOP’ and ‘INCH’ switches. The control switches mounted on
brackets are easily accessible to operating personnel around the loom.

FABRIC HAUL-OFF

Speed of the fabric haul off and thereby the weft density is infinitely variable within specified range of 10-28
tapes per 10cm. This weft density can be changed by entering desired value in loom controller.

FABRIC SURFACE WINDER (STANDARD WIDTH)

Specially designed to wind the woven tubular fabric with roll diameter up to 1200mm on cloth beam (with
collar system) of 102mm I.D. including an internal beam and drive rollers with rubberized emery. Suitable
fabric tension can be adjusted easily by adjusting speed of winder motor as per requirement.

ONE WEAVING RING

WARP PRE-EXHAUST SYSTEM

Helps in stopping the loom in advance, prior to exhaustion of warp tapes from the creel package with
optimized warp end delay time adjusted manually, depending upon operating speed/weft density of produced
fabric with available quality of warp packages in use. This specially designed mechanism assists loom
operator in running the loom more efficiently by providing stop signal with used modified tape guides/tension
rods (as per tape width/denier). “Warp end incidents” can be recalled on the screen of “Loom controller” to
evaluate extent of side fall/exhaustion of used warp packages on creel.

RECOMMENDED UTILITIES FOR CIRCULAR LOOM LENO4

1. ELECTRICALS

1.1 The buyer shall provide clean power supply with a separate cable of suitable capacity from distribution
board as specified by seller. Three-phase voltage with following fluctuations should be made available.

For mains supply of 3X440V / 60Hz with separate neutral and earth. The neutral wire must be fully loadable.

Admissible fluctuations

Voltage +/-10%
Frequency +/- 2%

In case the voltage variation is beyond the limits as specified above, suitably rated voltage stabilizer(s) will
have to be installed by the buyer, at their cost, to ensure regulated power supply to the loom.

1.2 The customer shall provide clean Three phase power supply to the machine, with adequate neutral point.
The machine should be properly earthed with min. two earth pits (based on earth resistance value of site) so
as to provide earthing resistance of less than 2 ohms. All earth pits prepared for this m/c should be
interconnected with each other. The earth pit should be made as near as possible to the m/c and should not be
shared with any other machine, equipment & other installations present at customer’s premises. The
interconnection between earth pit & machines should be made by two parallel copper strips of min. size 25X6
mm². Earthing resistance above 2ohms may result in failure of electronic parts as well as production
interruption, for which seller will not be responsible.

2. AUXILLARIES / CONSUMABLES

2.1 The buyer shall arrange to provide cores of “Black color” mainly for shuttles, for using tapes of white
color. For using color tapes having lower reflection, cores should be of color having major difference in
contrast. Dimension of these cores should be within specified tolerances recommended by seller and having
outer diameter treated / painted in such a way so as to have uniform colour, for proper functioning of ‘Color
Sensor’. Adequate quantity of packages shall have to be arranged by buyer in advance, for continuous
operation of Circular looms. Apart from tape of recommended quality, packages should have uniform tension
but without any defects in winding like side fall etc.

2.2 As per standard scope, one cloth beam will be supplied per loom. The buyer will have to arrange adequate
quantity of Cloth beams of specified dimensions / quality in advance, for continuous operation of Circular
looms.

2.3 The buyer shall arrange water at site as per below requirement.

a) pH value (at 25 C) :7 to 8
b) Total Hardness ≤ 178 ppm (Parts per million)
c) Carbonate Hardness ≤ 110 ppm (Parts per million)
d) Chlorides ≤ 40 mg/litre
e) Ferric oxides ≤ 0.1 mg/litre
f) Oxygen contents ≤ 4 mg/litre

3. AMBIENT CONDITIONS

If any of the conditions specified above not met in the production facility, buyer has to notify seller i.e.
LOHIA Corp Limited accordingly.

We recommend shed height of minimum 5meters. The production shed / hall should have suitable
ventilations (depending upon available climatic conditions in that location) to maintain above temperature/
humidity etc.

4. GENERAL

4.1 The buyer shall arrange concrete floor with Load-bearing capacity up to 2.5 MT/m².

4.2 The buyer shall arrange necessary transport equipment / lifting methods etc. while un-loading the looms
at site as well as during installation / operations. Max. weight of the case would be approx. 1900kgs.

4.3 The buyer will arrange necessary illuminations in different portion of Circular looms, as recommended by
seller.

PRICES :

All prices are according to INCOTERMS 2020. For the cost towards Supervision of Erection and
Commissioning of machines, kindly refer to the detailed clause below.

PACKING :

The machines will be packed in 20’ and/or 40’ containers.

DELIVERY :

The equipment ordered by buyer can be delivered 'On Board' within 5 months(approx.) from the date of
technically and commercially clear order.

TERMS OF PAYMENT :

30% of the total order value by Wire Transfer, as advance, to be remitted along with order confirmation.

Balance 70% of the total order value by Wire Transfer, at least 6 weeks prior to the scheduled date of
ex-works dispatch of the machines. The Seller shall inform the buyer in writing regarding the readiness of
machines to enable timely remittance of payment.

The transshipment shall be allowed. As the Seller is located at a land locked city, the “Multimodal/Combined
Transport document” as the document evidencing the shipment shall be issued.

Any delay (beyond the validity of this ‘Offer’) in remittance of pre-shipment payments/ in providing
technical information as sought by Seller and/or in providing an accepted copy of this ‘Offer’ will result in
delay in deliveries which may not be in the same proportion.

All banking charges outside India shall be borne by the Buyer.

INSPECTION :

Cost of Pre-Shipment inspection, if required shall be borne by the buyer.

WARRANTY AND LIABILITY :

The machines are warranted for manufacturing defects for 12 months from the date of commissioning or 15
months from the date of shipment, whichever is earlier, based on the following conditions:

a) The warranty will cover components with manufacturing defects. The decision of the manufacturer
regarding repair / replacement of such components will be final. This warranty will not cover electrical /
electronic items. For electrical / electronic items the warranty of their manufacturer / supplier will be
applicable.

b) The Seller is not responsible for the process or operating the machines after the machines are
commissioned and handed over to the customer.

c) The machines are operated in accordance to the operating and maintenance instruction of Seller. Only
spare parts supplied by the Seller have to be used.

d) Normal wear and tear parts are excluded from the warranty.

e) The Seller is responsible only for replacement/repair of parts and no claims for damages/compensation or
consequential damages like loss of profits and wages, loss of production, raw material will be admissible.

f) The SELLER shall be responsible for sending the replacement parts if required, however the cost for
import clearance of goods (all taxes, duties etc.) in the country of destination are to the BUYER’s account.

The Seller assumes no warranty, liability and will also not accept claims for short deliveries, if the customer
unpacks the machinery and performs any installation work without supervision of the Seller's
engineers/supervisors unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Seller.

ORDER CANCELLATION :

In case, contract is cancelled by the Buyer due to any reasons not attributable to Seller the Seller is liable to
claim from Buyer, all justified costs as may be incurred in connection with cancellation of order.

ARBITRATION :

That in the event of there being a dispute or difference between the Buyer and the Seller in respect of this
order or about its meaning and/or interpretation, the same shall unless amicably resolved be referred to
arbitration for settlement in accordance with Rules of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre, which
Rules are deemed to be incorporated by reference into this clause. The place of arbitration shall be Singapore.
The arbitration shall be conducted in English Language.

FORCE MAJEURE :

Force Majeure conditions affecting delivery and/or performance of the contractual obligations by the Seller
shall mean and include acts of God, strikes, lock-out, acts of public enemy, riots, civil commotion, fire, war
blockages, Government embargoes, regulations, restrictions, or any other cause or happening beyond control
and over which the Seller has no control. In case the Seller is effected by any of these conditions whereby
delivery and/or performance of the contract is delayed/affected, the Seller shall inform the Buyer about
happening of the event and take prompt action and measures to restore normal conditions so that the
operation of the contract is resumed in mutual interest of both the parties.

SUPERVISION OF ERECTION AND COMMISSIONING :

The machines are supplied in partially assembled condition and require skilled supervision of Seller's
technicians for erection & commissioning. The operating instructions sent with the machines do not include
detailed/ complete instructions for erection & commissioning. The price of the equipment offered does not
include the cost of supervision of erection & commissioning.

The terms & conditions for this supervision will be as under:

The Seller shall depute suitable number of Engineer(s) for the supervision of erection & commissioning and
will arrange:

1. To & Fro Air Fare for engineer(s) including visa charges.


2. Out of Pocket Expenses.

The Buyer must arrange the following for the Seller's Engineers:

1. Free Lodging & Boarding facility in a good hotel on individual single room accommodation basis.
2. Free Transportation within the foreign country where the site is situated.
3. The Buyer is required to ensure the aforesaid arrangements for the duration of supervision of erection
& commissioning from the time of his/their departure till his/ their return back to India for all days
including Weekly off's/ Sundays, Public Holidays which occur during the stay of the service person (s)
at Buyer's site.

The Buyer must also arrange the following:

1. Ready site complete with civil & electrical work as per the Seller's drawings and electricity is to be
supplied by buyer (as detailed in the clause 'Power Supply'). While internal cabling in the machine is
complete, the cabling from the Buyer's Distribution Panel to the machinery electric panels is to be
provided by the buyer. Air-conditioning of control panel is recommended if the ambient temperature
exceeds 35 degrees Celsius.
2. Skilled and unskilled labour are to be provided by the Buyer. The recommended number of persons
required will be informed to the buyer once the final scope of supply is determined.
3. All material handling equipment including suitable fork lift truck are to be provided by the Buyer.
4.
1. Cleaning material such as solvents, gasoline/kerosene etc. are to be provided by the Buyer. For
the purpose of cleaning cotton waste is not acceptable and the buyer must provide sufficient
quantities of linen. All lubricants including greases and consumables must be provided by the
buyer as specified by the Seller.
2. The machines will be supplied with the first fill of grease and lubricating oils. However, if any
lubricating oils or thermal fluids/oils cannot be supplied from India due to their flammable
nature, the same shall be provided by the Buyer at their own cost.
5. The Buyer will assist in obtaining Visa/Travelling papers for the Seller's supervisors.
6. The Buyer must arrange for insurance of all the materials upto commissioning and handing over.
7. Free transportation within the foreign country where the site is situated, from the time our
supervisor(s) land(s) at the port of entry till the time of his/their leaving for home from the port of exit.

8. The Buyer must provide a first aid kit at the site and shall extend medical facilities to our erection
supervisor(s), should such a need arise during their stay in the foreign country free of all charges.
9. In case of delay in the Erection & Commissioning due to delay on the part of the Buyer for any reason
viz. lack of infrastructure, labour, electricity, utilities etc., the Buyer will have to pay an extra service
charge amounting to EUR 100.00 per day per person.

VALIDITY OF OFFER :

This offer is not a binding document. The Seller reserves the right to alter the design/specifications of the
equipment. This offer is valid for acceptance within 30 days from the date of offer. Beyond this date,
reconfirmation from Seller is required.
