ABSTRACT

During this time, all spiritual activities are held online, such as praying the
Rosary, the theological forum, the Eucharistic celebration, and the Ecumenical
dialogue. Our study addresses the levels of students' participation and the factors
of their involvement in the virtual spiritual activities of the school. This study used
a descriptive-correlational research design to investigate and explain the
students participation in the virtual spiritual activities and the factors that affect
the students participation in virtual spiritual activities. The result of the pilot
testing showed no default in the questionnaire regarding the questions. The
respondents of this study are 95% of the population of the Third year Teacher
Education Program students, which comprised a hundred and twenty-five (125)
respondents from the total population of a hundred and eighty-four (184). The
researchers conclude that it is very accurate that their church activates their
participation, their knowledge of faith affects their involvement, and the spiritual
activities being held online are convenient. The school contributes to the
development of their faith, and their family and community truly motivate and
contribute with their participation. Thus, their socioeconomic status often hinders
them from participating because not everyone is privileged to access the internet
and has technology tools to join. The researchers conclude that there is no
significant relationship between factors of students participation and the level of
students participation. The researchers suggest that the Campus Ministry must
be aware of the determinants identified in this research, the students must be
assisted by the faculty and staff and the school administration to be involved in
aiding these factors and levels of participation in future virtual spiritual activities.
