Terms and Conditions for Telkom Spend and Get Promotion


1. Telkom Standard Terms and Conditions apply (full details may be accessed at
www.telkom.co.za).
2. Telkom Spend and Get will be available to all Telkom Mobile Prepaid customers, new
and existing.
3. Customers must recharge and spend a minimum of R20 or more weekly to qualify for
FREE data reward.

4. Qualifying Spend will be recognised from the following recharges:


 Out of bundle Voice usage from Prepaid Wallet account.

 Out of Bundle SMS/MMS usage from Prepaid Wallet account.

 Out of Bundle Data usage from Prepaid Wallet account.

 International calls made from Prepaid Wallet account.

 EventBilling usage Prepaid Wallet account.

 USSD charges from Prepaid Wallet account.

 Any VAS, Data, SMS and Voice that is purchased from Prepaid Wallet account.

5. Pinless recharges will be excluded. E.g., Data purchases from the Bank Platforms.
6. Airtime and Data transfer do not qualify as recharges, therefore will be excluded.
7. Customers must opt-in by dialing *180# and select Spend & Get option, customers who
do not opt in will not qualify.
8. Opt-in is once off.
9. Each customer will be rewarded based on their weekly spend value.
10. The Free Data reward will be allocated each Sunday from 7am and expire will expire at
23:59.
11. Free Data reward in non-transferrable.

Terms and Conditions for Telkom TikTok Data Bundles

Internal Use
12. Any unused data will not carry over, when Free data expires at the specified validity
period, the customer will forfeit all the unused data.
13. The customer will be able to check the balance via USSD (*188#).
14. The bundles data usage threshold notifications will be sent to customers when reaching
the applicable thresholds.
15. Order-of-consumption rules will apply. Free Resources are used up first, e.g., promotional
bundles and thereafter paid for resources.
16. Telkom will not incur any liability whatsoever for any loss or damage as a result of any
use, authorized or unauthorized, resulting from virus attacks, security vulnerabilities or
loss of information.
17. All prices include VAT.
18. The Spend and Get promotion will run from the 22nd of September 2022 until the 23rd of
January 2024.
19. Telkom will place any amended terms and conditions on Telkom’s website at the following
URL: http://www.telkom.co.za; after which it will be deemed incorporated into the
Agreement and bind the Customer from the date that the amendment was listed on the
abovementioned site.
