Suggestions before starting

• Make sure that the crocheting is tense so that the filling is not visible. For that it´s better to work
with a hook of 1 or 2 points less the size it´s used to crochet . The amigurumi technique requires
tension.

• Stuff with polyester filling until the piece gets firm, though the crochet is tense it will yield.

• The yarn thickness will change noticeably the size of your toys.

• Remeber that there are 3 factors that modify our crochet (size, tension, etc):
*the hook size
*the yarn thickness
*the crocheter´s hand (every person weaves with diferent tension)

Pattern

Materials:
• hook size 4mm
• 100grs thick cotton yarn (beige/pink)
• Polyester fiberfill stuffing
• Tapestry needle
• Small amount of light cotton yarn (black)

Abbreviations:
• sl: slip stitch
• sc: single crochet
• hdc: half double crochet
• dc: double crochet
• inc: 2 single crochet stitches in the same stitch
• dec: 2 single crochet stitches together
• ch: chain
• BLO: back loop only

Body or blanket

The whole piece is crocheted from the back loop


They are 2 pieces joined at the edge

1° 6 sc in a magic ring, 1 ch y 11 hdc, close with sl (12hdc)


2° 2 ch, 1 hdc in the same stich, hdc inc in the next 11 stitch, close with sl (24hdc)
3° 2 ch, 1 inc of hdc, *1hdc 1inc in the next stitch*, close with sl (36 hdc)
4° 2 ch, 1 hdc, 1 inc, *2 hdc 1 inc in the next stitch*, close with sl (48 hdc)
5° 2 ch, 2 hdc, 1 inc, *3 hdc, 1 inc in the next stitch*, close with sl (60 hdc)
6° 2 ch, 3 hdc, 1 inc, *4 hdc, 1 inc in the next stitch*, close with sl (72 hdc)
7° 2 ch, 4 hdc, 1 inc, *5 hdc, 1 inc in the next stitch*, close with sl (84 hdc)

Edge: 2 ch, 3 hdc BLO, 1 ch, skip 1 stich ,1 sl, 2 ch
and repeat.

Get 2 blankets together
1 round: 1 sc around BLO on each side.
2 round: 2 ch, 3 hdc punctured in the same stitch and closed together, 1 ch, skip 1 stitch ,1 sl
and from there I go out again with 2 ch and repeat.

Headband with flowers


The headband and the flowers are made in one piece
22 ch, + 7 ch, go back on 6 stitch from the chain, doing 3 sc on each stitch, 1 sl on the next
chain, 2 ch (to separate) and repeat 7 ch. Go back on 6 stitch with 3 sc on each stitch.

Repeat this sequency, according to the amount of flowers you want and finish with 22 ch.

Assembly
Arms Legs

Sew them together on the 7°round of the Sew them on the 10°round of the blanket with
blanket. 3 sc of distance between both.

Head Tail

Sew it on the 8°round of the blanket. Sew it on the 5°round of the blanket.

Congratulations! your bunny blanket is done!
