1. This group assignment requires students to be in groups of 4 people to accomplish the


task.

2. A group of students is required to prepare metadata records using metadata standards


for various information resources to be compiled in the form of a written report.

3. The students are required to find 2 books from the library and prepare metadata
records for ISBD, MARC21 standards and TEI for those books. Students also needed
to photocopy the front cover of the books, title page, and verso page as pieces of
evidence. Please attach the photocopies of the books in appendixes.

4. For preparing metadata records according to Dublin Core standards, students must
find 2 pictures from the internet and prepare the metadata records of the picture
according to Dublin Core Standard. Please attach the pictures to the report.

5. The table below is the summary of the metadata records that need to be prepared by
students for the group project.
