    REVISED NOTIFICATION

    ADMISSIONS to Ph. D PROGRAMME (ACADEMIC YEAR 2023-2024)

    Eligibility for the Entrance test:

    1. Candidates having passed post graduate degree examination from recognized


    university with minimum 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in UGC
    seven point scale or equivalent grade point average (GPA) in relevant subject/field are
    eligible. Candidates belonging to reserved category as well as physically challenged /
    disabled candidates shall be given relaxation of 5%.
    2. Admission percentage for foreign candidates (those who have not obtained masters
    degree from Indian Universities) will be 50% or equivalent GPA at master degree
    level.

    Exemption from entrance test:

    1. Qualified in GATE/SET/NET/JRF examination of the apex bodies as CSIR/ UGC/


    ICAR/ ICMR/ DBT only
    2. M. Phil degree completed from any recognized university whose admission at M. Phil
    was confirmed on the basis of entrance examination/however candidates will have to
    apply in the prescribed format with requisite fees for appearing the interview.

    Reservation as per Government Rules - 50% of total seats.

    Structure of Examination:

    Written test – 100 Marks


    Interview – 50 Marks

    Entrance test shall have following four components


     Research Methodology
     Content of respective subject
     Functional English language
     Functional knowledge of computer

    Nature of the test shall be MCQ’s and descriptive

    Passing criterion for entrance examination is 50%.

    Entrance examination shall be conducted in the main campus Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth.

    Result of entrance examination will be declared within 15 working days.

    Fees:

     Written Entrance examination fee Rs.5000/- (Non Refundable)


     Candidates appearing for entrance examination should pay Rs.5000/- (Non
    Refundable) through RTGS/NEFT
     Successful candidates in the entrance examination should pay Rs. 5000/- for
    interview. (Non Refundable) through RTGS/NEFT
     Shortlisted exempted candidates should apply for interview with prescribed fees of
    Rs. 5000/- (Non Refundable) through RTGS/NEFT
