BIBLE READING

1.0 YOUTH
1.1. There will be a MWZC directors convention at Emmasdale Church tomorrow from 08:00hrs to
16:00hrs. All Pathfinder and Adventurer must attend without fail.
1.2. There will be a BMD youth executive meeting today the 10th Feb. 2024 at Remnant SDA at
14:00hrs.
1.3. There will be a Pathfinder parades day on the 25th Feb. 2024. More details to come.

2.0 MUSIC
2.1. The deadline for affiliation was on the 3rd Feb. 2024 as follows;
Choirs – K 600 Quartet – K 300 Soloist – K150
Only groups which will affiliate in full will be considered for any district programs.

3.0. STEWARDSHIP
3.1. February is stewardship month and below are speakers to respective congregations.

4.0 CHILDREN MINISTRY


4.1. There will be a Children Ministries Orientation seminar on the 18th Feb. 2024, from 08:00hrs
to 16:00hrs. All teachers for children ministries leaders, teachers for children and committees as
well as elder-in-charge are requested to attend.

5.0 CLERICAL
5.1. The MWZC administration would like meet all Lusaka based church clerks (Barlastone Mission
District included) tomorrow, 11th Feb. 2024 at KASAMBA SDA church from 08:00hrs to 16:00hrs.
Kindly carry your; church record book; laptop; smart phone; and enough data. Each church to make
sure to send the elder-in-charge of clerical or his representative who should be a serving elder.

6.0. COMMUNICATION
6.1. There will be a communication training in communication, Graphics, FB management and other
Social medias on the 18th Feb. 2024 from 09:00hrs to 16:00hrs.
To attend are all communication leaders and secretaries both at district and local church level.
Communication and secretaries for AMO, Doracs & Youth both at district and local church level.
Registration your attendance through the district communication leader; Eld. Hector Mbewe on
0975 396759 for certificate preparation by 15th Feb. 2024.

7.0. VOP
7.1. There will be a VOP Seminar for all local VOP leaders and elder-in-charge on the 25th Feb. at
Church Main from 09:00hrs to 13:00hrs. The seminar will center on the utilization VOP lessons as
an evangelism tool; how to manage the VOP dept and other helpful lessons for the dept. Powerful
facilitators have been invited. Carry packed lunch.

8.0. SECRETARIAT

8.1. Despite the opening of schools, congregations are expected to worship up to Main Service
until such a time when communication will be received from the conference to the contrary.

8.2. All those who need receipt books, tithe envelops can contact the district secretary, eld. Kupe
on +260 97 7324616 of Chunga Mian SDA Church.

8.3. The Pastor is ending his crusade in Tanzania today and he is returning tomorrow.
