Dear Sir/Madam,

As per your need of a Project Officer for IECD Project to serve in your
organization, I am interested in applying for the position and contented to
offer my expertise to your NGO.

I used to be employed by my previous employer in April 2008, I commenced as an

Office Assistant where I was responsible for administrative duties, stock
inventory and reviewing weekly reports. My professional and dedication during
my role as Office Assistant resulted in me being promoted to Project Coordinator
in July 2011. As Project Coordinator I was responsible for the overall
management of the Children’s Financial Literacy and Village Entrepreneur
program, including the supervision of five project field officers; managing
stakeholder relationships; and providing monthly and quarterly monitoring
reports to management team. I since commencing in this role had continually
ensured that project outcomes and objectives are not just met, but exceeded.

On two occasions, as a result of my outstanding leadership and project

management skills I had acted as Country Program Manager, managing up to 42
staffs across all of CUFA Cambodia’s projects.

In addition to my prescribed duties, I had willing undertaken extra duties;

regularly hosting international delegates and organization investors visiting
projects. In 2013, I managed and coordinated the delivery of organization
annual two weeks Leadership Challenge, a team of Australian fundraisers
participating in a cycling event across Cambodia. My performance in this role
was exemplary, with management receiving outstanding feedback on my
performance.

During my time with my previous employer, as recognition for my achievements I

had been awarded with several professional development opportunities such
as representing the organization at the 2014 World Council of Credit Unions
Conference on the Gold Coast, Australia and participating as a mentor in CUFA’s
2012 Development Education Program in Sydney, Australia and studying a short
course of 3 days on PRINCE2 Foundation, Sydney Australia 2017. Additionally, I
had engaged in senior management strategy and planning days; partaking in
operational planning in Phnom Penh, Cambodia in 2012 and CUFA’s strategy
planning in Dili, Timor-Leste in 2009. In each of the above-mentioned occasions I
had represented CUFA with upmost professionalism.
In each of my roles, I successfully demonstrated my ability to work independently
as well as in a team; built strong working relationships with community members,
partnered organizations and international delegates; and applied critical thinking
skills to solve challenges and mitigate risks.

According to my work experiences and knowledge, I am sure that I am a person

you are looking for to fulfill this position. As requested, I have attached my CV
which will give you more information about my working history and experiences.

Thanks you so much for your time and your consideration. I am looking forward to
hearing back from you.

Your Sincerely,
Pove Phearun
