Sample Informative Essays

Crafting an essay on the subject of "Sample Informative Essays" can prove to be a challenging
endeavor. The difficulty lies in the need to strike a delicate balance between providing valuable
information and engaging the reader effectively. One must not only gather relevant data but also
organize it in a coherent and logical manner to ensure clarity and comprehension.

To begin with, extensive research is necessary to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the topic.
This involves scouring through various sources to find reliable information, statistics, and examples
that can substantiate the points being made in the essay. Additionally, the challenge lies in sifting
through a multitude of information to select the most pertinent and impactful content.

The writing process itself demands a meticulous approach. Crafting a compelling introduction that
captures the reader's attention while clearly outlining the purpose of the essay is no small feat. The
body of the essay must seamlessly present the information in a logical progression, ensuring a
smooth and coherent flow. This requires careful consideration of the structure, ensuring each
paragraph transitions smoothly to the next, and that the information is presented in a digestible
manner.

Furthermore, the challenge extends to maintaining a tone that is both informative and engaging.
Striking this balance is crucial to keeping the reader's interest throughout the essay. Overloading the
text with facts may lead to monotony, while a lack of substance can undermine the credibility of the
essay.

Finally, the conclusion must effectively summarize the key points, leaving a lasting impression on the
reader. Crafting a conclusion that is both impactful and leaves the audience with a sense of closure
requires skillful articulation.

In conclusion, writing an essay on the topic of "Sample Informative Essays" demands meticulous
research, thoughtful organization, and a skillful balance between information and engagement. The
process is undoubtedly challenging, requiring a careful consideration of content, structure, and tone.

Research Paper On Shared Intention
Gilbert s account of shared intention

In Gilbert s (2009) paper, Shared Intention and Personal Intentions, she had given a clear
statement about shared intention that it is an action acted by agents together as a body in
the future plans. The first step to share intention is to have an agreement between agents.
They usually shared their intention literally and expressed by a shared intention

use the sentences of form like We intend that... to show their shared intention on thought.
In some cases, a future directed shared intention can be arose without any agreement
between agents. For example, Liam and Gary plan to go to supermarket together. Liam
said Let s go to supermarket together this afternoon. Gary replied Sure. Our fridge is out
of food. In this ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Under this criterion , the concurrence of all agents is required to change or rescind the
shared intention, or to release an agent from participating in the action, without special
understanding backgrounds (Gilbert, 2009). We can use Liam and Gary case to
illustrate this criterion more. If Gary suddenly do not want to go to supermarket,
instead, he want to go to bank on their way to supermarket, Gary could not leave unless
Liam agree with it. This is because Gary had an agreement with Liam that they would go
to supermarket together this afternoon. If Gary quit the action, he would betray their
agreement and broke their shared intention. On the other hand, however, if Gary gives an
understanding background to Liam in the first place, that is Gary told Liam that he may
go to bank this afternoon when they are achieving the agreement, Gary can feel free to
go without agreed by Liam. Certainly, one can also make their own decision not to do
according to the shared intention, but it doesn t mean that they had changed or rescind or
quit from the shared intention (Gilbert,
Frankenstein-Personal Narrative
The cavernous and threatening woods that stretch out before me are a godless sight,
unfolding out for what seems like forever. Beautiful, yet terrifying. The low hanging
clouds that seemed to almost hold some kind of electricity cover the woods like a
descending blanket of mist trapping its victims below. The vast, contorted trees leak
sticky sap like poisoned back of a frog; the trunks twisting up insanely, like the
despairing limbs of the damned begging for forgiveness. The damp earth beneath my feet
softens as I walk down deeper in to the undergrowth. The distant howl of a strange and
unfamiliar creature echoes all around me and suddenly I am a submarine, submerged in
this unknown woodland setting.
The earth feels cool and soft against the rough soles of my feet, almost comforting as
the soil slips between the small gaps between my toes. I find the forest almost closing in:

The lake darkens as the ominous clouds race across the sky, as black as the devil s
soul, and swallows the bliss blue complexion of the sky faster than you can blink. The
world has abruptly become cellar dark and the heavens above look to collapse down
upon me. A deafening wind runs over the landscape like a thousand horses, the noise
of the raindrops their clattering hoofs. The threatening force of the gales knocks and
blows the trees in precarious ways, almost as though, if it had wanted to, the wind
could blow them away as if they were but feathers, not heavy pines. Lighting lights up
the sky like liquid, golden ore streaks being forged into forks up above. Wriggling and
writhing with the pain of their own existence. Flashing once, twice, three times, polished
and glossy like the cold prongs of the apocalypse. Shaking myself from my weather
caused trance, I hurry for shelter under a nearby fern tree. Staring deep into the blackness
of the storm I wonder whether I will ever see that bliss blue appearance

In the year 2006, IASB issued IFRS 8 Operating Segments replacing the IAS 14. IFRS
8 replaced IAS 14 because the revenue earned from the sales to external parties was
reported in a limited segments and did not require separating the segments accordingly
to the different stages of a vertically integrated entity. The new IFRS 8 requires the
report to separate in segments for the Chief of Decision Maker (CODM) purposely to
measure the allocation of resources for the segments and evaluating or assessing the
performance (Anon, 2014).

Users of financial statements consists two categories, internal and external financial

The Copper Mining Process
Copper Mining
Extraction is a key part of the copper production process. There are 3 different
techniques that mining companies use to extract copper ore. The choice of method is
dependent on many factors, including: depth and grade of the ore body, overall reserves,
topography and location to name a few.
Surface (Open Pit) Mining
Open pit mining is the predominant method used to extract copper ores and it takes
place on the surface. Overburden and waste rock is stripped off to expose the ore.
Holes are drilled into the rock and samples from this are used to determine the grade of
the ore. A mix of ammonium nitrate and fuel oil (ANFO type explosive) is used to
blast the rock to break it apart. Pneumatic or hydraulic impact hammers are then used to
break up bits of ore or waste rock that is too large. Large shovels then transport the ore
onto trucks ready to be processed. This method is ... Show more content on

There are three different types of underground mining.
Stoping
This involves sinking a vertical shaft which provides access to the ore body. The ore is
then drilled and blasted before being raked down a chute that allows it to be collected.
All waste rock is transported down a different chute. This method is best suited to steeply
dipping vein type deposits.
Room and Pillar Operations
Large horizontal drifts are drilled (called rooms) and can be up to 60ft high and 100ft
wide. The rooms are parallel to each other. Many pillars are left undrilled to hold the
roof up. Once the mine reaches the end of the ore body, the pillars are mined (pillar
robbing), starting from the back of the mine and working forward. Timbers support the
roof until the pillars have been completely mined and the roof is allowed to collapse. This
method produces the most tonnage out of any other underground mining technique and
is best suited to large, flat deposits.
