1. INTRODUCTION
This material requisition covers the requirements for the manufacture and delivery of the CO2
Fire Fighting Local System, for Vent Collecting Post, Slop Vessel Vent, Amine Vent Collecting
and Closed Venting Systems, for the FPSO. P-78 of the Buzios Pre-salt Field Development to
be delivered as a complete package for EEP.
This material requisition, together with the reference documents listed at item 3 – Reference
Documents, presents the general engineering requirements applicable to this item.
The VENDOR shall be entirely responsible for securing any additional information pertaining to
the execution of the project, as well as for delivery of the equipment, complete and in perfect
conditions of assembly, operation and productive capacity, as settled down in the Technical
Documents associated with this REQUISITION.
Omission of any construction and/or manufacturing detail from this REQUISITION, shall not
constitute cause for not carrying out any service, or not supplying any material, as necessary
for perfect operation of the item required in accordance with the applicable Specifications/Data-
Sheets, with no extra costs.
Any conflict of information found in the documents that comprise this REQUISITION should be
brought to the attention of PURCHASER, in writing, previous to, or on the occasion of
presentation of the Proposal, for due clarification.
2. SCOPE OF SUPPLY
The following items shall be provided as complete units, including all the normally required
accessories for safe operation, startup operation and maintenance.
All equipment parts and details not agreeing to the specifications at item 3 – Reference
Documents shall be informed at “Deviation List”. Otherwise they will be presumed as “Agreed”,
and so required.

In addition, the requirements in the above-mentioned Technical Specification, the followings are
also to be considered and followed:
2.3.1. General Notes
The CO2 Fire Fighting Local System, for Vent Collecting Post, Slop Vessel Vent, Amine Vent
Collecting and Closed Venting Systems, shall be designed, manufactured, tested and certified
according to the applicable Classification Society Rules, as well as shall be approved by EEP.
VENDOR shall be responsible for providing the required documents in order to allow obtaining
the Classification Society and Regulatory Bodies approval in connection with the delivered
items, as well as for providing sub-suppliers with correct and sufficient information regarding
inspection and certification requirements.
VENDOR shall deliver the complete approved installation drawings and the required certificates
as well.
The CO2 Fire Fighting Local System shall be tested to the satisfaction of EEP and the
Classification Society Surveyor, at the final local operation, based on the detailed procedures to
be provided by VENDOR.

VENDOR shall provide Spare Parts, Consumables and Tools according to Rules and
Regulations.
2.3.3. Package Design, Construction and Installation
All design, construction, and installation details of the package shall agree to the documentation
listed at item 3 – Reference Documents.
Drawings & Technical Documents shall agree with item 4 - VENDOR’s Technical Documents of
the present RM, plus those required by the Classification Society and Regulatory Body.
Vendor documentation shall inform, according to the contract, which parts are by VENDOR and
which are by yard. The same way, which of installations are to be done by yard, and which ones
are VENDOR scopes.
Both VENDOR and yard scopes shall be clearly informed by VENDOR through detailed
documentation instructing all disciplines involved in the designing process. For closing the
definition and quality of scopes according to contract, Engineering Design Company will
analyze, comment and require VENDOR to revise the documents accordingly. Finally, if agreed,
Engineering Design Company will approve VENDOR documents. This documentation shall be
good enough to permit the completing and the issuing of all the necessary planes and
documentation for finishing the installation the way it was acquired by owner.
Also, VENDOR is responsible for calculating, defining and properly informing all loads to be
supported by the platform itself, as well as the required consumption of facilities such as sea or
fresh waters, electricity, compressed air, hydraulic oil, etc. and the skid draining requirements.
The same way, VENDOR shall inform the requirements for instrumentation signals from and to
the platform.
All applicable data sheets (FD) listed at item 3 – Reference Documents below shall be filled up
by VENDOR and reverted for approval, as VENDOR’s Technical Documents (see item 4).
3. REFERENCE DOCUMENTS
Besides the requirements specified in this REQUISITION, VENDOR Scope of Supply shall
comply with the requirements stated in below Reference Documents, which shall be taken into
account as part of this REQUISITION.
Any requirement stated in the specification but not referred to in VENDOR Technical Proposal
shall be taken into account as part of VENDOR’s responsibility or Scope of Supply if not
expressly mentioned in the Deviation List.

Notes:
1) VENDOR may combine the information required by several Descriptions onto a single
document, or divide a Description into several documents.
2) Each Description and the documents to which it refers shall be clearly linked together in the
Documents and Drawings List / Schedule (SDS).
4) VDF Purpose:
DFD = Document for Design.
DFI = Document for Information.
8) All the preservation activities defined as contractor responsibility in the EXHIBIT VIII-
Directives for commissioning shall be considered as VENDOR’S scope of supply during the
manufacturing period till arrival on SITE/EEPSA receiving.
Remarks:
Drawings, details and description of the operation of instrumentation and controls, as well as
the models, materials, and types of auxiliary equipment shall be supplied.

The operating manuals shall contain, in addition to all necessary installation, operating, and
maintenance information, updated “as supplied” revisions of data sheets, wiring line lists and
P&ID’s.
VENDOR shall provide all drawings, design details, calculations, operating and maintenance
manual and all other information required for design assessment, installation, operation and
maintenance of the package.
All information to be provided shall be clear and manuals for operation and maintenance applied
specifically to the units shall be provided.
VENDOR shall be fully responsible for the content of all data sheets and documents.
VENDOR shall issue for BRASFELS approval the complete Data Book, which shall include all
final version approved documents of Engineering, Construction, Installation, Preservation,
Commissioning, Operational and Maintenance produced for the equipment(s)/system, stamped
by Classification Society, when applicable. The basic organization of the Data Book shall be
according to:
Part II – Operation & Maintenance Manual, Instruction for Installation, Preservation and
Commissioning
Part III – Quality Manual, comprising Material Certificates, Tests and Procedures, Weld and
NDT reports and traceability.
Part IV – NR-13/NR-10 dossiers, if applicable, and documentation for compliance with regulatory
agencies and Classification Society, with stamp of approval of the Classification Society.
VENDOR shall deliver 3 (three) printed copies and 4 (four) CD-ROM / DVD-ROM of approved
Data Book for FPSO P-78.
5. WARRANTY
VENDOR agreement and compliance with the project specifications and inquiry documents shall
not exempt him from the responsibility of supplying equipment and components suitable for the
specific operating conditions.
All equipment and materials shall be new. Refurbished equipment or parts thereof are
not acceptable.
All equipment and component parts shall be guaranteed by the VENDOR against fault
in design, defective or improper materials, poor workmanship and failure from normal
usage for a period stated on the Contract (“warranty period”). If any defects or low

performance occur during such Contract period, the VENDOR shall make all necessary
or desirable alterations, repairs and replacements, free of charge, including
transportation and field labor (disassembly/assembly) services.
Unless otherwise stated / defined on the Contract between Supplier and Buyer, the warranty
period shall comprise 1 (one) year of operation start or 3 (three) years after delivery whichever
comes first.
It shall be provided an extended warranty in case the operation start exceeds 24 months.
Contractor shall guarantee the supply of spare parts, at least, for up to 10 years after the
acceptance test date, and technical assistance at installation site performed by qualified and
certified maintenance staff, when requested.
6. WEIGHT CONTROL
VENDOR shall fulfill the form in the next sheet (Annex I).
VENDOR shall inform all modifications related to the weight of the equipment as soon as
possible to Buyer, in order to keep updated the weight control.
