Graphic Essay
Composing an essay on the subject of a "Graphic Essay" presents a unique set of challenges, as it
demands a delicate balance between visual elements and textual content. Unlike traditional essays
that primarily rely on written expression, a graphic essay necessitates a fusion of words and images
to effectively convey ideas. This intricate interplay of visuals and text adds an extra layer of
complexity to the writing process.
Crafting a graphic essay requires a keen understanding of visual storytelling, graphic design
principles, and the ability to seamlessly integrate images with written content. Selecting appropriate
visuals to complement the narrative and ensuring they enhance rather than distract from the text is a
nuanced skill. Additionally, one must consider the layout and sequencing of images to maintain a
coherent and engaging flow throughout the essay.
Moreover, the challenge lies in striking the right balance between the visual and textual components
to convey a clear message. It demands a thoughtful approach to ensure that both aspects align
harmoniously, contributing to the overall impact of the essay. Balancing creativity with academic
rigor poses a unique difficulty, as the writer must not only convey information effectively but also
engage the audience through visual aesthetics.
Furthermore, the technical aspect of creating a graphic essay adds another layer of difficulty.
Utilizing graphic design software or traditional artistic mediums requires proficiency, and the writer
must navigate these tools with precision to bring their vision to life.

Introduction of Southwest Airline
CHAPTER 1
There is a very famous story about Southwest airline. According to this story King
explain his idea, the concept of the airline, to Kelleher during dinner. He drawn a triangle
on a paper napkin. The triangle shows three cities, and three routes, Dallas, Houston and
San Antonio. Rolling King and Herb Kelleher started their airline in March 15, 1967 and
named it air Southwest. Unfortunately for them, the airliner could fly in that time due to
a joint lawsuit. The lawsuit was done by 5 big airliners of that time, Braniff, Aloha
Airlines, United Airlines, Trans Texas, and Continental Airlines. After three years of
legal fight, the lawsuit was lifted and the airliner was ... Show more content on

They were also the pioneers in fun fares, senior discounts and the fun packs. In 1987,
Southwest Airlines took over TranStar Airlines and
1992 was a success year for Southwest with winning its first Triple Crown award and
win it for three continuous years. Triple Crown is an award provided by U.S.
Department of Transportation for an airliner who has three features: 1 best baggage
handling; 2 best on time record; 3 fewest customer complaints during that year. They also
continued to expand their destinations to more than 9 cities. In 1994, southwest took
over Morris Air. This gave southwest a stronger edge in the market

RESOURCE BASED VIEW
Capitalism has more freedom than socialism. That is a strong statement, i know but i
can back it up. In the article Capitalism vs. socialism (N/A. Capitalism vs Socialism.
Diffen.com) The author makes this statement: Capitalists believe that the government
does not use economic resources as efficiently as private enterprises do and therefore
society is better off with the free market determining economic winners and losers. This
explains how capitalism let s society chooses how the economy plays out rather than the
government getting all up in societies business, like socialism. Another reason
Capitalism is better is because the society gets to choose what they do with their lives.
They get to choose what their job is, they get to choose how they live. But socialism
doesn t get that freedom, the government chooses what they do,, how they live. e.g. [The
government] will prescribe for every one where they are to work, what they are to ...

I mean yeah sure, in socialism they have free health care and yeah they also have less
poverty, but they do not have the freedom of choice. I think that is the reason people
move to capitalists countries, isn t that the american dream? Even though socialism has
some benefits capitalism has proved itself to be the better of the
Oceanography Personal Statement
Climate research is both urgent and uncertain. Changes in climate affect nearly every
aspect of our lives, from food security to public health. Unfortunately, limited or biased
observational data combined with a limited understanding of complex phenomena in the
ocean (the dominant driver of global heat and carbon uptake) presents hurdles for climate
scientists. Uncertain results often lead to public skepticism and stall environmental
policy efforts; these delays threaten populations who often contribute the least to
anthropogenic climate changeand yet are likely to suffer the most. The global need for
reliable climate research drives my interest in climate and the ocean s role in the climate
system.

Heaving is wind induced vertical motion in the water column and has been linked to
multidecadal warming and salinity changes at shallow depths; however, there has been
little study on the presence of heaving in the deep ocean. Studying deep ocean heat and
salinity transport mechanisms in relation to water masses is crucial for the global
energy budget, sea level rise projections, and predicting how anthropogenic forcing will
affect the future climate. The goal of our research was to determine the timescale and
magnitude of deep ocean heaving using temperature and salinity profile data from the

Reflection Paper On Homelessness And Homelessness
When we were first introduced to this assignment, I was both excited and nervous. I
was excited because it gave me the opportunity to step of my comfort zone. I was also
excited to be able to get out into the community and practice some of the social work
skills that we have learned in class. I was nervous because I knew it would be hard to
hear the struggles of a single parent experiencing homelessness. As someone who was
raised by a single parent, I also know how easy it can be to fall into homelessness.
Overall, I think I was more excited about doing this assignment because I truly did want
to hear the stories that single parents experiencing homelessness wanted to tell.

My thoughts have stayed the same about homelessness; however, I certainly have started
to acknowledge that homelessness is a very real thing. I also try my hardest to recognize
that these individuals are people; therefore, I now make it a point to at least make eye
contact with them on the street.
Social Justice
As I stated before, far too often our society ignores that homelessness is a struggle for
many people. Additionally, our society often thinks these people choose to be homeless.
Terra talked about an incident at a gas station, and how one of the employees at the gas
station said all the people at across the street are drunks and addicts. She talked about
how upset she gets when people have these misconceptions about people that are
struggling with homelessness. Hearing her talk about this broke my heart because our
society should not shame people for being homeless; instead, we should be looking at
solutions to end homelessness. It is a human right to have basic human needs, yet our
society continually provokes their unjust agenda.
Our society also tends to ignore domestic violence, which is something that my mother
and Terra both faced. Terra could not get any help with service providers because her
children and her were not in immediate danger; although, Terra certainly knew they were
in danger. Social justice is helping
Essay On The Puritans
The puritans were a religious group made up of people who wanted to purify, the Church
of England. The puritans were activist that wanted to get rid of the catholic system
within the church. However, people in England sought out to remove these groups of
people from the area because they saw them as a threat to their religion. This is how the
puritans ended up in MassachusettsBay Colony. The puritans moved to this colony in
hopes of recreating and ideal community, a utopian society that others could look up to.
The puritans ideal community consisted of peace and partnership; they wanted to
remove all evil and improve the quality of life. The puritans then became strict to
ensure that every person was equivalent in the eyes of God. I think the religion puritans
created casted a fear in other people especially in England because they are so used to
being ruled under one king. The... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The Puritans viewed religious and civil affairs at the same level. They did not separate
the two. Even though the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment stated that
church and state were separate, the Puritans held them close together. The Puritans strict
beliefs influenced politics during this time period. In the early stages of the puritans
journey to purification, they opened a new church and slowly they were evolving into
their own beliefs. The puritans wanted to break away from the norms, and expectations
of Christian society. I believed that the puritans had the idea that by creating a new
church, they could essentially purify their life, along with others, and the way the church
ruled. The spiritual belief of the puritans was so strong that it influenced communities,
laws and customs. In the ideal world for the puritans, God is above all. The puritans, I
think, wanted to remove the idea of having a ruler, or dictatorship in control of the
people, and their
