Introduction As a new way of life at modern quality organizations, Lean Six Sigma aims at building a positive quality culture with standardized efficient processes. The ultimate goal of Lean Six Sigma is to improve the performance of processes by minimizing the level of variability, minimizing the cost of operations, and maximizing the output of each step of the processes.
Lean Six Sigma follows a proven, structured process to solve problems and improve the performance of various processes. This process –well known as DMAIC– starts with defining the problem and the current process, then moves gradually to finding root causes of low performance, and proposing solutions to each root cause, then changing the process to a new one with much less variability and much higher performance.
Lean Six Sigma thrives on building an organization structure that has Green Belts and Black Belts who ensure the successful implementation of Lean Six Sigma projects and keep the quality culture vibrant at the heart of the organization.
Learning Objectives Trainees will learn the Entire Lean Six Sigma “Body of Knowledge” which includes all Lean Six Sigma tools. Trainees will learn all Statistical and Managerial tools needed to run a Lean Six Sigma project. At the end of this training, trainees will be ready to tackle projects with the systematic methodology and systematic thinking administered by Lean Six Sigma.
Course Outline This training is built on (7) seven modules described as follows: 1. Introduction to Lean Six Sigma and its Benefits. 2. Define Phase Module. 3. Measure Phase Module. 4. Analyze Phase Module: Lean Tools. 5. Improve Phase Module. 6. Control Phase Module. 2
7. Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) Module.
Each module has at least one workshop or case study. Training will include actual examples of ASQ exam questions.
Certification Options Upon completion of this course, trainees can be certified in two ways:
1. By passing a Certification Exam furnished by OPEXPRO. This exam will be
conducted on a later date after the completion of this course and based on a mutual agreement between OPEXPRO and the trainees that best suits their time. (Note: OPEXPRO Certification Exam fees are included in course fees and for one time only, any further re-examination will be charged 100 JOD)
2. By the American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification Exam, which can be done through OPEXPRO, as we are ASQ’s Official Examination Site in Jordan. (Note: Please check ASQ’s website (www.asq.org) for SSGB Certification Exam requirements and fees)
Targeted Groups The Green Belt is an essential member of any Lean Six Sigma team. As a Green Belt, you can assist or lead a team in executing process improvement projects. Therefore, this training targets Quality Personnel, Engineers, Managers, Consultants and any other employees who worked or are working in areas of performance improvement.
Training Method Besides the theoretical portion, this training will have many practical aspects of Lean Six Sigma which will be explained through examples, workshops, and case studies.

Course Fees Course fees for LSSGB training is 500 JOD for individual trainees and 450 JOD per trainee for groups of 2 trainees or more.
