1]BRIEF DESCRIPTION
A full-wave bridge rectifier is a circuit that converts alternating current
(AC) to direct current (DC). It is made up of four diodes connected in a bridge
configuration. The diodes allow the current to flow in one direction, but block it
in the other.
When the AC input is positive, the two diodes on the left side of the
bridge conduct, allowing the current to flow from the positive input terminal to
the positive output terminal. When the AC input is negative, the two diodes on
the right side of the bridge conduct, allowing the current to flow from the
negative input terminal to the negative output terminal.

Advantages of using a full-wave bridge rectifier:
High efficiency: Full-wave bridge rectifiers are very efficient, with an
efficiency of over 90%. This means that very little of the input power is wasted.
High current handling capability: Full-wave bridge rectifiers can handle
high currents, making them ideal for use in high-power applications.
Relatively inexpensive: Full-wave bridge rectifiers are relatively
inexpensive, making them a cost-effective solution for many applications.
Easy to find: Full-wave bridge rectifiers are easy to find, both in stores
and online. Overall, full-wave bridge rectifiers are a versatile and efficient
solution for converting AC to DC power. They are used in a wide variety of
applications, including power supplies, battery chargers, and motor controllers.A
full-wave bridge rectifier is an electronic circuit that converts alternating current

COMPONENTS USED
The elements used in a full-wave bridge rectifier are:
Four diodes
Diodes are semiconductor devices that allow current to flow in one
direction, but block it in the other. In a full-wave bridge rectifier, the
diodes are connected in a bridge configuration, such that the current can
always flow in the same direction at the output, regardless of the polarity
of the input voltage.
Two capacitors
Capacitors are electrical components that store electrical energy. In
a full-wave bridge rectifier, the capacitors are used to filter out any ripple
voltage from the output. This helps to ensure that the output voltage is
smooth and DC.
One transformer
A transformer is an electrical device that transfers electrical energy
from one circuit to another without direct contact between the two
circuits. In a full-wave bridge rectifier, the transformer is used to step
down the AC input voltage to a lower voltage level. This is necessary
because the diodes in the bridge rectifier have a voltage drop associated
with them.
Other components
In addition to the four diodes, two capacitors, and one transformer,
a full-wave bridge rectifier may also include other components, such as a
resistor and a fuse. The resistor is used to limit the current flowing
through the diodes, and the fuse is used to protect the circuit from
overcurrent conditions.
The four diodes are labeled D1, D2, D3, and D4. The two
capacitors are labeled C1 and C2. The transformer is labeled T1. The
resistor is labeled R1. The fuse is labeled F1.
Full-wave bridge rectifiers are very efficient and can handle high
currents. They are also relatively inexpensive and easy to find. They are
commonly used in power supplies to convert AC power to DC power..

CONCLUSION
The full wave bridge rectifier is a significant electronic circuit that converts alternating
current (AC) into direct current (DC) it composed of four diode that configured in a bridge
arrangement. The bridge rectifier allows current to flow in one direction, regardless to the
polarity of the AC input
