Job Profile:

Position Summary: Mainly responsible to ensure that front office shift run efficiently, providing
outstanding guest service, assisting all front office staff and maintaining a clam, professional
environment at all times. Supervises and assign duty roster for front office attendant, bell counter.

 Checks cleanliness of the lobby and public areas, lights and as well as front office staff in proper
and orderly appearance and behaviour.
 Checks on registration cards of arriving guest and ensures all information should be filled on
each cards by executive or by guest.
 Assist in sending guest messages.
 Gives the instructions to the night shift, during the high occupancy periods, regarding: walk in
guest and release room blocked because of non-show.
 Assists in handling room door lock problems.
 Co-ordinates with all the department concerned in order to maintain front office function
properly
 Handles guest complaints and other related problem and reports on the duty manager log book
 Assists reception, cashier, reservation during they are busy.
 Answer guest inquires, handles complaints and attend to the needs of the guest.
 Approves and Sign for allowances voucher, paid out voucher. As required by Front Office
Cashier.
 Authorises charges to be made for late departure and/or compliment on them.
 Promotes and Maintains good public relations.
 Motivates and maintains good staff relations.
 Maintains and be guided of hotel policy on credit/lost and found hotel guest properties.
 To responsible for front office operation during the absence of front office Manager.
 To discuss all matters that needed to follow up with the next shift.
 Conducts and ensures the neat of appearance of front office attendant as well as correct
attitude and behaviour, discusses problem that encountered on this point with front office
manager.
 Briefing sessions daily.

Position: Front Office Executive

Job Profile:

 Process all guest check ins , verifying guest identity, form of payment ,assign room, and
activating /issuing room key .
 Set up accurate accounts for each guest according to their requirement
 Secure payment prior to issuing room key, verify/adjust billing.
 Compile and review daily reports/logs/contingency lists.
 Process all guest check outs activities, all payment types, vouchers, paid out and charges.
 Balance and drop receipts .Count and secure bank at beginning and end of shift.
 Coordinated special billing arrangements and requests
