tense.

What is a present tense of the verb? Present tense of the verb expresses an action
that is happening now.

pass here looks like a verb but actually it
doesn’t function as a verb.

INFINITIVES.

II. Practice

Infinitive is formed from a verb but doesn’t

act as a verb. An infinitive is not a verb. It
acts like a noun in a sentence. It is preceded
by the word to.

The infinitive form of the verb means that

it does not take a tense. It is the bare form of

the verb, but with 'to' before it.

Infinitives are created by to + verb.

Example:

 I love to study.
 The person to call is Jeff.
 I can’t wait to read the new books!

situation presented on the picture that we
had. I want all the boys to read the paragraph.

To improve my scores in my Grammar

course, I joined the top students in our
class who were studying at the library. I
wanted to make sure that my grammar was
as good as it could be. They helped me to
understand some complex grammatical
points. It is impossible to know everything
in a short time, but I improved lot, and I

they did. To help me like this was very
kind.
