The daily lesson plan summarizes a World History class that will teach 8th grade students about the continents of the world. The objectives are for students to be able to name the seven continents, identify and label them on a map, and describe the major physical features of each one. The lesson involves a group activity where students arrange the scrambled continent names and introduce themselves. It also includes analyzing a graphic organizer about the land mass and characteristics of each continent and viewing pictures of iconic locations to represent the continents' pride.
