CONSTRUCTION
Blue and White GRP hull with white superstructure. In 2004 the
hull was stripped, one coat Gelshield 200 epoxy primers, one
coat Trilux, 2 coasts Cruiser anti-fouling (Bare Marine at
Shamrock Quay). Dual helm position: wheelhouse and aft deck.
MECHANICS
2 x Cummings B-series 6BTA5.9M: @ 250hp each: hours run
approx 800. Bennett hydraulic trim tables (dual control with level
indicators). Fuel tank capacity: 2 x 350 litres (range @ 17 knots:
270 nm).Fuel consumption: 10gph @ cruising speed of 17 knots.
Top speed: 25 knots. Water capacity: 1 x 100 gallon.2 x 1000ah
batteries (2003) with isolators and link facility. Engine room
access: 2 hatches in wheelhouse for routine maintenance, climb
through hatch in aft cabin for full access around engines,
complete wheelhouse floor can be removed for total access to
engine room. Engine room fully floored and illuminated + 230v
sockets.
LAYOUT
Sleeps 6 in 3 cabins plus occasional single berth in wheelhouse.
Wheelhouse: raise/lower helm-seat: Double navigators seat with
chart table: “L” shaped settee with two x additional “stow-away”
pouffes, extending coffee table, drinks cabinet, TV on swivel
bracket in recess, 7 lockers/cupboards. Starboard door to side
deck and steps and door to aft deck. Sliding window. 3 x Wipers
with Auto-park, intermittent and single-sweet operation. Low
voltage lighting with bright/dim facility. 12v sockets.230v
sockets. 2 x low-voltage gooseneck chart lights. 200w main
inverter via dedicated 13a socket, shorepower indicator, battery
voltmeter, brass clock, barometer, thermometer and hygrometer.
Master Cabin aft: with large double berth, separate WC including
shower with electric pump, hanging wardrobe and storage
cupboards, overhead and reading lights, 230v sockets, blackout
blind with integral anti-mosquito screen under hatch to aft deck.
Forecabin: with twin “vee” berths, hanging wardrobe, storage
lockers and separate heads including shower with electric pump,
overhead and reading lights, 230v sockets, hatch to foredeck.
Dinette: (can be used to form additional double bunk),
raise/lower teak dining table with folding leaves and large
storage bays and cupboards.
“U” shaped galley: with 850w microwave, full gas oven with grill
and 3 ring hob, Engel 12v/230v fridge with socket for portable
12v coolbox, sink, draining board, waste unit, cupboards, cutlery
drawers, storage. 230v sockets, overhead vents and ports.
All cabins have full-size hatches, ports, carpeting, curtains and/or
blinds and are finished in teak with luxury “Compass Rose” inlay.
All ports supplied with clip-in anti-mosquito mesh grills.
Eberspacher D5L cabin heating in all cabins. 2 x holding tanks
with deck pump-out and sea pump-out facilities. 7 gallon
calorifier with 230v immersion heater. Glomex active TV/FM radio
aerial. Radio/cassette player with speakers in wheelhouse, aft
cabin and aft deck. Full shore power system with 230v sockets in
all cabins. Pro-Mariner battery management system.
NAV EQUIPMENT
Raytheon XX10 Radar. Autohelm Navcentre Plotter including
GPS: plus C-Map cartridges for Channel, Thames , Channel
Islands. Autohelm ST7000 Autopilot. Autohelm ST Log and Depth
Sounder. (The above are all interfaced via Seatalk bus system.
Autopilot, log and depth repeated at aft helm position). Navico
Pro Nav-tex Unit. Swiftech 168 VHF radio in wheelhouse with aft
helm speaker and talk position. Intercom between wheelhouse,
engine room and aft deck.
DECK EQUIPMENT
Avon 4-man canister liferaft (in cradle on coachroof) – last
serviced 2003.Avon Rover dinghy. 3.3hp Mercury outboard.
Outboard bracket. Set of off-shore flares. Horseshoe lifebuoy.
Radar reflector. Horizon 1000 electric anchor winch. Delta
anchor, 90m of 8mm chain. Delta kedge anchor, rope and chain.
2 x Spurs rope cutters. 6 x fire extinguishers (manual in each
cabin and 2 auto in engine room). CCTV in engine room
(appearing on domestic TV in wheelhouse). 2 x Exhaust alarms.
2 x De-bug units fitted to output of each diesel tank. Whale
electric bilge pump with automatic vacuum switch. Henderson
manual bilge pump. Airhorn.2 x aluminium boat legs by The
Yacht Leg Company. Warps and fenders. Boathooks.2 x deck
boxes on aft deck with padded seats and back rests.2 x aft deck
helm-seats with covers. Windscreen cover. 2 x gas bottles in
separate locker. Shorepower socket and cable. Searchlight
controlled from both helm positions. Stainless steel ladder to
bathing platform. Screw down ventilators to forward cabins.
