BEFORE
Prepare an emergency kit with
essential items such as water, food, a
flashlight, radio, batteries, a first aid
kit, medications, cash, and
important documents. Store your kit
in a safe and accessible place and
ALWAYS BRING
check it periodically for expiration YOUR FIRST AID KIT!

DURING
Drop, Cover, and Hold is a simple but effective way to protect yourself
during an earthquake. It reduces the risk of being hit by falling objects or
flying debris, and it helps you avoid moving around and getting injured.
Here are the steps to follow:

DROP! COVER! HOLD!

Drop to the ground Cover your head and Hold on to your shelter
before the earthquake neck with your arms and and stay there until the

AFTER
After the event of an earthquake, please
follow these steps to evacuate safely and
quickly.
First, stay calm and protect yourself
from falling objects.
Next, exit the building through the
nearest evacuation exit. Do not use
elevators or stairs that are damaged.
Lastly, check yourself and others for
injuries and seek medical help if
