Pre-Lesson

Lesson Pre-lesson Stage (10 Minutes)


Development 1. Teacher explains the classroom rules to the pupil and makes sure they understand and
agree to follow the rules.
2. Teacher continues to explain the subject outline including the topics, skills focused,
weekly tasks and materials needed throughout the future lessons.
3. Teacher explains about the task requirements for “Fun Learning” which consists of pair
works, group works, individual tasks, games & quizzes, take home tasks and long-term
projects related to English lesson.
4. Teacher explains her expectation of the pupils’ performance and good behaviour.

While lesson Stage (20 Minutes)


1. Teachers conducts “Magic box” game where pupil asks teacher an appropriate WH
question and the teacher responds to it then the teacher also asks pupil to pick a
WH question from the container and answer it.
2. Teacher briefly explains about WH questions before starting the game as well the
rules for the game.
3. Teacher starts the game by playing the music as the pupil start to pass the box from
person to person until the music abruptly stops at one person which allows them to
pick a question from the container then respond to the WH question. In return,
they are also allowed to ask a WH question to the teacher.
4. Teacher encourages pupil to equally participate in the game.
5. Teacher ends the game after making sure that everyone has participated in the
game.

Post lesson stage (20 Minutes)


1. Teacher assigns pupil to write a short essay.
2. Teacher instructs pupil to write an essay on “What do you want to accomplish in your
life and why?” in 250 words.
3. Teacher instructs pupil to brainstorm ideas in tree map (Task 1) based on;
 What do you want to achieve in life? or what is your ambition/ passion?
 What motivates you to achieve your goal?
 Why do you want to accomplish your dream?
4. Teacher instructs pupil to complete the task given and submit it before the class ends.
5. Teacher asks those who have not completed task 1 to do it as a homework and submit
the completed task 1 and essay (task 2) on Thursday 30th March 2023.

1. Teacher recaps the lesson and asks pupil to briefly recap what they have
