INTRODUCTION
A hotel is a hive of operations that include front desk, booking and reservations,
banquets, finance, HR, inventory, material management, quality management, security,
energy management, house keeping , CRM, and others. All these operations occur at
the same time, making manual management impossible. This prompted the development
of property management systems, sometimes known as hotel ERP, which auto mate a
variety of routine tasks .Hotel operations can be improved via management. Technology
is infiltrating the hospitality business, and hotel shall over the world are seeking for ways
to lever age it to make the operations more effective and smoother. The hospitality
industry's desire for performance and efficiency has spawned a slew of hotel
management systems. If you are searching for a bigger, more compare hensive
management system, the sea real so known as Property Management System’s(PMS)
and Hotel ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning).
Scope : The scope of a Hotel management system can vary depending on the specific
needs and requirement so the Hotel. Generally, it encompasses the following aspects:
Front Office Management: This module is responsible for managing the reception and
front desk operations, including check-in, check-out, room location, and guest services
House keeping Management: This module manages the house keepings the schedules
, room cleaning and maintenance, and inventory management of guest supplies.
Inventory Management: This module tracks inventory level sand supplies in the hotel,
including food and beverage, housekeeping supplies, and other hotel amenities.
Human Resource Management: This module manages the hotel's workforce, including
recruitment, scheduling, payroll, and performance evaluation.
Marketing and Sales Management: This module handles marketing and sales
operations, including customer relationship management, marketing campaigns, and
sales analysis.

Output of the Micro Project:
RAD (Rapid Application Development) Model
RAD is a linear sequential software development process model that
emphasizes a concise development cycle using an element based
construction approach. If the requirements are well understood and described,
and the project scope is a constraint, the RAD process enables a development
team to create a fully functional system within a concise time period.
Multiple teams work on developing the software system using RAD model parallel.

Use case Diagram:
This Use Case Diagram depicts the relationships between the pieces of the
Hotel Management System graphically. It is the process used in system
analysis to discover, clarify, and organize Hotel Management System
requirements. The major components of the Hotel Management System UML
use case diagram are depicted in the graphic below.
13
Activity Diagram:
An activity diagram is a type of UML diagram that shows the flow of activities
and actions within a system. In a hotel management system, the activity
diagram would illustrate processes like guest reservation, check-in, room
assignment, room service, housekeeping, billing, and check-out. Each
activity is represented by a rectangular box with rounded corners, and
arrows show the flow of activities between tasks. Overall, the activity
diagram provides a visual representation of the hotel management system's
various processes and tasks, helping to improve communication between
stakeholders.

CONCLUSION
In conclusion, the Hotel Management System designed using UML provides a comprehensive
solution to efficiently manage various operations within a hotel environment. By employing
UML diagrams such as the Level 0 and Level 1 diagrams along with the Use Case diagram, the
system's architecture, functionalities, and interactions have been clearly delineated. Through
the Level 0 and Level 1 diagrams, the system's overall structure and the breakdown of its
components and modules are depicted, offering a high-level view for stakeholders to
understand the system's architecture. Additionally, the Use Case diagram provides a detailed
representation of the system's functionalities from the perspective of different actors,
facilitating clear communication and understanding of the system's behavior.
