1.Summary

1.1 Brief overview

This specification describes the electrical characteristics, RF performance,

size and application environment of WG1602. It can help end users and
developers quickly learn this model.

WG1602 is a 4G router with two 4G modules. It can access the Internet

through 4G sim cards or 1000Mbps WAN port. Support load-balance and
network backup.

3. Main features:

 Adopt MT7621A solution, MIPS dual-core CPU, the main frequency is up

to 880MHZ
 Use independent WIFI chip, 2.4G is MT7603EN, 5.8G is MT7612EN
 2.4G rate up to 300Mbps, 5.8G rate up to 867Mbps, dual frequency rate is
about 1200Mbps
 Using high-speed 256MB DDR3 and 16MB Nor Flash
 1 WAN+4 LAN (1000M adaptive network ports, support Auto MDI/MDIX)
 Support USB2.0 and TF card slots to expand SMABA or FTP network
storage function
 Support "One-click mode"(press the reset button to enter the rescue and
flash mode)
 Built-in two 4G PCIe module interfaces
 Two external Nano SIM card (small card) interfaces, both support

4.2 Indicator function

The red light will always on when cable be inserted and will flash
WAN LED
when it work.
The red light will always on when cable be inserted and will flash
LAN1-4 LED
when it work.
Power LED Power light is always on when it work.
Light is always on when the 2.4G WIFI work.and flash during data
2.4G WIFI communication.
LED Light is off when the 2.4G WIFI function is off or the 2.4G WIFI
function fails.
Light is always on when the 5.8G WIFI work.and flash during data
5.8G WIFI communication.
LED Light is off when the 5.8G WIFI function is off or the 5.8G WIFI
function fails.
The routing system is always on when the 4G module 1/2 is
4G1-2 LED successfully mounted, but not on when the 4G module 1/2 is not
connected or the 4G module 1/2 fails

5. 4G mobile communication function

This product has two built-in PCIe interfaces of USB2.0 bus, which can be
used to expand the function of 4G mobile communication. The frequency
bands depends on the 4G modules.

As shown in the "Product Picture" , two 4G modules are each corresponds to

two SIM cards. In this way, a dual-module & dual-SIM card can achieve traffic
superstition or 4G network backup through software control.

6. WIFI parameters introduction

6.1 WIFI 2.4G

It compatible with IEEE 802.11 b/g/n and support IEEE 802.11 d/h/k; Support
20MHz, 40MHz. Use 2T2R MIMO antenna technology. The maximum
connection rate is up to 300Mbps.
