Adapting for the Screen


Bestselling novels have provided the basis for many of today’s top-grossing films. Take the Harry Potter films, for

a reason for their preference. On the other hand, those who prefer the book complain that films, by showing us the

Becoming a Film Director


Being a film director may sound glamorous, but have you considered what the job actually entails? A director’s
responsibilities include just about every aspect involved in the making of a film. The pre-production stage refers to all
