1. Screencastify: I use this website almost every day in my classroom. I record every I
make so I can post it to my Google Classroom, that way any student who is absent can
watch it as if they were right there in class. It is also great for students to just go back if
they need refreshed on anything. For my Dream Unit I used Screencastify to make
example videos for different types of problems.

2. Google Classroom: I started using Google Classroom my first year at my new school
and will never go back. It is extremely user-friendly for both students and teachers. It is
very easy to access when using other Google products for assignments, such as Google
Forms, Google Docs, Google Slides, etc.

4. EdPuzzle: EdPuzzle is a great replacement for your typical notes. You can use a premade
EdPuzzle, use a premade video to create your own EdPuzzle, or create your own video to
make your own EdPuzzle. The best part about EdPuzzle is that you can place questions
throughout the videos. This makes students stay engaged as they watch the notes so they
can get the questions right. This works especially well if you grade the questions.

5. Gizmo: I always used Gizmo when I was in school for science labs. It wasn’t until this
unit that I found out Gizmo can also be used for online manipulatives. A lot of schools
can’t afford a lot of hands-on manipulatives. And we know as teachers we can’t afford to
buy them ourselves. So, this is a great tool if there are any manipulatives you would like
but don’t have. The link below is to a Gizmo for using Algebra Tiles for factoring.

6. Google Docs: Google Docs are great for students to work together on any type of
assignment, but they are also great for teachers to give out information to their students.
For this unit I needed to put videos together for students to access, so hyperlinking them
in a Google Doc was perfect, along with the problems they were working on.
