COMPANY :- Bank of Maharashtra

INTRODUCTION:- Bank of Maharashtra is an Indian public sector bank


headquartered in Pune. The bank had 29 million customers across the
country with 2022 branches as of March 2022. It has the largest network of
branches of any nationalised bank in the state of Maharashtra. The total
business of the bank crossed ₹ 3,15,620 lakh crore as on 31 December 2021.
History
The bank was founded by V.G.Kale and D. K. Sathe in Pune. The bank was
registered on 16 September 1935 with an authorized capital of US$1 million
and became operational on 8 February 1936. It provided financial
assistance to small business and gave birth to many industrial houses. The
bank was nationalised in 1969.

TITLE:- HOME LOAN


INRODUCTION:- Home is a dream of a person that shows the quantity of
efforts, sacrifices luxuries and above all gathering funds little by little to afford
one’s dream.

Home is one of the things that everyone one wants to own. Home is a
shelter to person where he rests and feel comfortable. Many banks providing home
loans whether commercial banks or financial institutions to the people who want to
have a home.
A home loan requires you to pledge your home as the lender’s security for
repayment of your loan. The lender agrees to hold the title or deed to your
property until you have paid back your loan plus interest. In simple words
a home loan is a fund or the loan which the buyer has taken from any
financial institution or bank to purchase a new home at an agreed rate of
interest specified during the contract. Home loan is the finance borrowed

from a bank or financial institution to buy or modify a residential real
estate property.

OBJECTIVES OF STUDY

 To study the concept of home loan.


 To find out the home loans tariff charges of Bank of
Maharashtra.
 To study the methods adopted by Bank of Maharashtra for
providing home loans.
 To study the various types of home loans provided by Bank
of Maharashtra.
 To know the structure of interest rates of home loans.

SCOPE OF STUDY
 The studies have a scope of observing schemes & loan schemes of
housing loan of The Bank of Maharashtra.
 The Bank of Maharashtra offers various types of loans which
includes personal loan under which housing loan comes.
 Scope of the study is limited in Gondia region.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Research methodology is the specific procedures or techniques used
to identify, select, process, and analyse information about a topic.

In this research I have adopted the descriptive research for
health insurance.

 Primary data :- information is collected through experiment are
through survey. The primay data will be collected by the
following sources:
 Questionnaires.
 Interviews.
 Observations.

 Methods and procedure of data collection …
 Methods and procedures of data analysis…
Sampling method:-
The type of sampling method used in simple random method.
 Probability sampling:- simple random sampling, systematic
sampling, stratified sampling, and cluster sampling.
 Non-probability sampling :- convenience sampling voluntary
response sampling purposive sampling snowball sampling and
quota sampling.

TIME REQUIRED FOR STUDY :-
It generally take 1 month to make the project and submission of proposal.
