you want to prevent your bike from being stolen, you use a bike lock.
When you want to protect your valuable possessions, you keep them in
a safe. But what do you do to protect your identity online?
Modern life is fundamentally intertwined with the internet. Nearly every
daily task now has the opportunity for online integration, and almost
everyone owns multiple devices, including laptops, phones, tablets,
smart watches, smart TVs and many more. The more accounts and
devices you have online, the greater the potential is for criminals to
access your personal information and take advantage of you.
Online safety is important no matter your age or life stage, but there are
particular concerns for certain vulnerable groups like children, teenagers
and senior citizens.
When it comes to internet safety, it's best to start with the basics. Here
are some tips to guide you as you evaluate your online habits and make
small changes to ensure your privacy and security on the internet.
While creating a new password, pay attention to strong password
requirements. Use different user IDs or password combinations for
different accounts, Make the password more complicated by combining
letters, numbers, and special characters and create hard-to-guess
passwords, and keep them private. Change your passwords quite often.
Don't share your passwords with other people. Make sure passwords
and password hints are stored securely. Record passwords in an
encrypted file on your computer, or select another secure password
storage method. Avoid writing them down. Prevent "auto-login",
uncheck "Keep me signed in" and "Remember my password" options.

Lumbini is located in Rupandehi district of Southern Nepal close to
the Indian border and inscribed on the UNESCO world Heritage list. It
is renowned for being the official birth place of Siddhartha Gautam
who became the Buddha.
The main site is known as Lumbini Development Zone which is sealed
in by a perimeter fence. There are lots of beautiful places to visit some
of them are listed as;
 Lumbini Temple/ Temple of Mayadevi : Walk inside the temple
built over the spot Buddha was born.
 Mayadevi Pond : Where Buddha's mother is said to have bathed
before giving birth to him.
 Lumbini Museum : Historic manuscripts and item from the area.
 Bodhi Tree : impressive tree covered in prayer flags beside the

Bhairahawa from Kathmandu; then take a bus, taxi or rickshaw to
Lumbini which is about 30 minutes away. By bus, it is cheaper and
more frequent route to Lumbini. You can approach Lumbini in a
reasonable amount of time by bus. From Kathmandu it's 6-9 hours;
from Pokhara it's 6-9 hours and from Chitwan it's 5-6 hours.

Marie was born in 1867 in Warsaw, Poland, where her father was a
professor of physics. At an early age, she displayed a brilliant mind and
a blithe personality. Her great exuberance for learning prompted her to
continue with her studies after high school. She became disgruntled,
however, when she learned that the university in Warsaw was closed to
women. Determined to receive a higher education, she defiantly left
Poland and in 1891 entered the Sorbonne, a French University, where
she earned her Master's degree and doctorate in Physics.
Marie was fortunate to have studied at the Sorbonne with some of the
greatest scientists of her day, one of whom was Pierre Curie. Marie and
Pierre were married in 1895 and spent many productive years working
together in the Physics laboratory. A short time after they discovered
radium, Pierre was killed by a horse-drawn wagon in 1906. Marie was
stunned by this horrible misfortune and endured heart breaking anguish.
The fact that she had two young daughters to raise by herself greatly
increased her distress.
Marie was asked to succeed her husband as a Physics professor at the
Sorbonne. She was the first woman to be given a professorship at the
world-famous university. In 1911 she received the Nobel Prize in
chemistry for isolating radium. Although she eventually suffered a fatal
illness from her long exposure to radium, she never became
disillusioned about her work.

France has always earned global recognition for the quality of its cuisine
and Paris gives you the chance to confirm this taste of greatness. Over
the years, the restaurants in Paris have earned higher Machelin stars than
London's. Nonetheless, London's food should not be written off. With an
increased diversity among the people flocking to London, restaurants
have been embracing food from various parts of the world. The vibrant
cultural mix in London has led to delicious and innovative food scenes.
London offers a wide array of food such as cheap curies to fish and
chips. Paris on the other hand brings quite a variety of bread and
pastries, as well as baguettes.
Both London and Paris are known for their high cost of living, but

George Eliot was the pen name of Mary Ann Evans, a novelist who
produced some of the major classic novels of the Victorian era,
including The Mill on the Floss, Adam Bedel Silas Marner, Romola,
Felix Holt, Daniel Deronmda and her masterpiece, Middlemarch.
It is impossible to overestimate the significance of Eliot's novels in the
English culture: they went right to the heart of the small-town politics
that made up the fabric of English society. Her novels were essentially
political: Middlemarch is set in a small town just as the Reform Bill of
1832 was about to be introduced. She goes right into the minutia of the
town's people's several concerns, creating numerous immortal
characters whose interaction reveal Eliot's deep insight into human
psychology.
During the twentieth century there were numerous films and television
plays and serials of her novels, placing her in a category with
Shakespeare and Dickens. The distinguished literary critic, Harold
Bloom, wrote that she was one of the greatest Western writers of all
time.
George Eliot lived with her father until his death in 1849. He was
something of bully and while in his house she lived a life a conformity,
even regularly attending church. She was thirty when he died and it was
at that point that her life took off. She travelled in Europe and on her
return, with the intention of writing, she was offered the editorship of

the journal, The Westminster Review, she met many influential men and
began an affair with the married George Lewes. They lived together
openly, something that wasnot done at the time, and, when she became
famous after the publication of her first novel, Adam Bede, when she
was forty, using the name George Eliot, their domestic arrangements

Lewes' health failed and after his death she married John Cross, a
literary agent twenty years her junior. After Adam Bede more novels
followed swiftly on it heels.
She died in 1880, aged sixty-one, and is buried in Highgate Cemetery
beside George Lewes.

Sugar Loaf Mountain is one of the largest and most popular urban rock-
climbing destinations in the world. There are 270 different routes to
explore in the area as you climb high above the Atlantic Ocean and the
sprawling Rio de Janeiro. You can give it a hand yourself, or watch other
adventurers conquer the iconic mountain.
It is not the only unique landmark in the area. Its neighbours add to the
tranquil beauty of the whole peninsula. Morro de Babilonia, or Babylon

Have you ever heard of great auks? They are flightless penguins about
half the height of humans. Although very agile under water, they have
been described as having a clumsy and rather awkward way of carrying
themselves on land. These peculiar birds established one of their biggest
breeding grounds on Funk Island, in Newfoundland. Chances are that
you have never seen one - and you never will, since great auks became
extinct in 1844 when the last two members of the species were killed.
Unfortunately, the fate of the great auk is not unique: a staggering on
million species are threatened with extinction worldwide. At least 842
species of plants, fungi and animals are at risk in Canada alone. This is
about the total number of bee species and four times the number of
mammal species that exist in Canada. It is 842; too many.
Great auks went extinct before we could document their behaviour. We
can only glimpse their existence through the journals of travellers.
Counts of threatened species often mask what we are really at risk of
losing; unique life forms and their complex interactions could disappear
before we even have a chance to study and understand them. In Canada,
that's 842 species, each with singular physical attributes, funny
behaviours or impressive cognitive skills.
What can we do about it? While biodiversity conservation specialists
work actively on protecting threatened species and their habitats, we

believe that studying behaviour in endangered and non-threatened
species is also essential.
Researchers working on endangered species often use behavioural
measurements to monitor animals' health with minimal disturbance (for
instance, without having to collect tissues, remove animals from their
habitat or euthanize individuals for research purposes). Health problems
can be detected by observing changes in behaviour or abnormal
behaviours, which happens frequently in animals experiencing chronic
stress, infected by diseases or suffering from malnutrition. Changes in
behaviour often precede reproductive disorders, death and population
decline. Studying animal behaviour therefore allows us to detect
problems at an early stage and act quickly to solve them.
