Review Direction: The teacher will tell a short story and ask questions after.

There was a boy named John who was so lazy he couldn’t even change his
clothes. One day, he saw the apple tree in their yard was full of fruits. He
wanted to eat some apples, but he was too lazy to climb the tree and take
the fruits. So, he lay down underneath the tree and waited for the fruits to
fall off. John waited until he was starving, but the apples never fell.
Moral of the story:

Laziness can get you nowhere. If you want something, you need to work
hard for it.

1. Activity Song Activity: “Polite Expressions in the Song”
The teacher will play the polite expression song in the television and after
that the teacher will ask the learners, to join singing the song.

2. ANALYSIS Questions:

3. When do we use the word, sorry? Give examples.

3. ABSTRACTION Game: “Picture Hunt”
Direction: The teacher will put pictures under the student’s chair,
randomly. The student who will find the picture under their chair will
describe what polite expression there is in the picture.

4. APPLICATION
GROUP ACTIVITY (Differentiated instruction)
Directions:
1. Group the learners into 3 groups.
2. Each group will do the task given to them.
3. Do the task properly and orderly.
4. Present work afterwards.

Group 1: Match the picture.


Group 2. “I can color the expression”. Using
your crayons, crayons a heart shape if the word is expression.

PINK it if it is a greeting, RED if it is leave
