Name of Activity: ORIENTATION ON NATIONAL LEARNING CAMP

Date: July 24 – 28, 2023
Venue: Plan Building Room 1
Participants’ Grade 7 & 8 Leaners and their parents.
Description: NLC Teachers.
ACTIVITY
Objectives: 1. Orient learners about the National Learning Camp.
2. Provide feedback to parents/guardians on the importance of
implementing NLC.
3. Participate in collaborative expertise about the student’s
capability of learning to address the different gaps faced by the
NLC student volunteers.
4. Teach students with the use of the learning of materials.
Preliminaries: The school disseminated information about NLC through the
Barangay Public Address System and requested Grade 7 & 8
parents to have their children report to school and enroll in the
NLC if they are interested to join.
The NLC Teachers collaborated together to discuss some issues
and concerns faced before and after the first week of the
implementation of the National Learning Camp.
Design of the Event: The Volunteer Teachers conducted an orientation to interested
Grade 7 & 8 learners and their parents about NLC.
The NLC Teachers shared expectations and feedbacks through a
collaborative expertise.
Methodology: Face to Face
Management of the An opening program was first held followed by the Orientation
Activity proper. Furthermore, an Opening Forum followed to make sure
that the participants understand everything that has to do with the
National Learning Camp.
The collaborative expertise was done with sharing of expectations
and feedbacks for the first week of the implementation.
Resource Persons: NINO M. BALDAGO and other Volunteer Teachers.
Results After the orientation, the participants have fully understood the
significance of implementing NLC to learners from Grade 7 & 8.
Students were able to attend to their respective camps. They were
very eager to have fun and at the same time they are learning.
Participants’ Feedback The learners who attended the orientation promised to participate
(Learners) Output in their respective camps.
The volunteer learners participated actively in different activities
as the teacher gave fun-filled learning activities.
